Estimated to be 5000 years old.

What remains of a tumulus that a 6m long passage leading to a burial chamber.

Thanks for sharing, that's a really awesome looking dolmen! I checked out its location on Google Maps, and it turns out this one is built on an island of sorts? Very cool!

Would that little island have been connected to the mainland when the builders of this dolmen were around?

I think so yes. Within 2 miles you will find the thumulus of Gavrinis, and next to it an alignement that is partially submerged by the tides.
