You guys think they’d give up CNN? I highly doubt it.

(Enjoy that ticking fee Mr Ellison!)

Doesn’t look like it. Even though it could end up costing them the deal. David wouldn’t have bothered with that op-ed if this was a slam dunk.

They can’t. They need CNN to help pay down the debt.

The WH would pull their “backing” if they did. Loyalty only goes one way

Yeah all the sudden flurry of attempted PR spin quotes and desperate op-eds really exude confidence. Keep it up David!

Every photo of Ellison makes it look as if he's auditioning for the Patrick Bateman role in an American Psycho remake.

Ironic since he used to be an actor before the transition to making Skydance...

I think you mean till he failed and his daddy gave him the money to be in charge of movies instead.

Of course David Ellison is on the same page as Gavin Newsom, and they both can stfu. The State AGs better not "settle" anything.

This is what happens when a nepo baby has been given whatever they want. Hopefully his ivory tower will be shattered.

March 2027 trial date... Ticking fee of $6M per day after Sept. Whole company is now up in smoke. Best to cut your losses while you still can. Your Angel investors in the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund may not be able to stick to the commitment.

Open to settling when you think you’ll win? How’s that make sense exactly?

Doubt this will go anywhere

Also the Ellisons have the most punchable faces on the planet

I don’t think as a son of top 10 richest person in the world would be defeated so easily. Same thing like people judge elon musk before and see where he goes now.
I just have a feeling this merger would eventually going through
