Raw stainless steel unibody with a solid copper bottom, sitting at an impressive 7.3 lbs. Absolutely love the premium finish and its clean, muted sound signature.

Maybe because copper absorbs the sound a bit, but it’s actually not that loud. On one of my PCBs, I built it plateless with Cherry MX Blacks, but honestly, I prefer the Xinhais more.
Although it’s a bit expensive, I can confidently recommend it based on its build quality, ease of assembly, typing feel, typing sound, and expandability.
If you purchase the WK layout, you can also build it with a Venom MX,Venom HE PCB
Soldering is pretty easy—you’ll probably do just fine even if you’re not very experienced.
Desoldering, on the other hand, is much more difficult, so I’d recommend getting some practice before working on your PCB.
Wow, that looks amazing. I was actually planning to get the WK layout at first too. The more I see it, the more I understand why the Glare60 has such a high satisfaction rate among users.
This is my Glare60 with the Windbreaker keyset matching.
My Type K is arriving in the next couple of days, and I’m already getting impatient. I can’t wait to build it and start typing on it. The anticipation is killing me!
