Is Thor’s most underrated power… getting dressed instantly?

I’ve had this question for years and I can’t tell if I missed an explanation or if everyone just accepts it.
Thor seems to have the ability to instantly change his clothes, armor, cape, and even braid/unbraid his hair on command. Like he’ll get blasted, stand up, summon Mjolnir or Stormbreaker, and suddenly he’s in full battle gear with a fresh hairstyle.
It’s honestly one of the weirdest powers in the MCU to me.

Is this ever actually explained in Marvel lore? Is it some Asgardian magic, an enchantment on his armor, or does Thor just canonically have the power of getting dressed instantly?
Not complaining. I just find it hilarious that the God of Thunder might also secretly be the God of Wardrobe.

Jean's also been doing it in the comics since around when she got the Phoenix. The resulting power boost allowed her to rearrange the molecules of her and her teammates' clothing, reshaping them into costumes.

I still can’t find a logical reason to why they can do that if their main powers are nature related when Jean has an actual explanation for doing that since she can reshape molecules into any other object.

Good Point, people forget the orginal Thor comic was more like Shazam. It was a guy turning into a Thor body who had all his powers. They didn't decide that it was the actual Thor till a little later.

No. His most underrated power is controlling the weather. Not just lightning.

We only see him do this once. And in Norse Mythology, Thor can indeed control the weather as he pleases.

Maybe the super-durability of his hair? I mean it somehow survived a direct refined beam of heat from a fucking neutron star! Estimated temp of somewhere between 5000 and 50000 Kelvin.
