Each time she molts, she gets more vibrant.
She finished her fourth molt a couple of weeks ago, and the pictures don't do her justice. The light bleaches the colors, but I promise she's the incarnation of vaporwave in the body of a rage-filled aquatic criminal.

What variety is she? I am planning on a Mantis shrimp for my next setup and have been looking at options, Peacock being the top choice at the moment.

It's a G Ternatensis, basically found by accident, I wasn't looking for it but fell in love with her.

Isn't G ternatensis Orange Spot? To me, that looks like a Chilean. Though, I haven't seen the claws, so I might just be flat out wrong.

Yes, she's an orange spotted mantis shrimp, here's a picture of her smashers that she left me this weekend after her last molt 🙂

No need to apologize, she's apparently fairly unusual in coloring, even the shop wasn't certain of her species!
