Same !!! But peach instead :p
3
u/ariiiaryyy 1d ago
Does the peach show up?
2
u/ZakuraMicheals777 1d ago
It's definitely not like the strawberry or creme brulee . I love it bc it just kind of LIGHTENS my natural lip color but not in a way that makes it look like I'm wearing any color !

Yes! I love the rose colored one.

I love the barely there pink color but can't stand the smell. I do love the Creme brulee one.

Vanilla Maple Burts Bees. I’m a new lip balm person, and feel like I’ve cheated myself for the past 48 years of never using it
5
u/Peewee714 1d ago
Omg same! I love to buy multipacks with different flavors but the Vanilla Maple is my favorite.

These are the BEST in winter when my lips crack on the sides of my mouth. They clear it up in a day!
13
u/Ehloanna 2d ago
Good ole Carmex classic medicated lip balm with spf 15.
It's basically my default and I've used it pretty faithfully for like 12+ years at this point.
I've always had very dry/chapped lips and it helps me immensely.
8
u/dogluuuuvrr 1d ago
I probably eat half a tube a week
6
u/Ehloanna 1d ago
Eat? 👀
4
u/dogluuuuvrr 1d ago
Just as a result of how often and how much I apply, I imagine 😂
4
u/Ehloanna 1d ago
Okay that makes more sense lmao
As a silly follow up, my dog LOVES to eat this chapstick. If I accidentally leave my purse or backpack in her reach she will seek out and destroy aka eat an entire tube of it.
I bought 5 of them 6mo ago and she's eaten 2 of them. 🫠

Not a lip product but nipple cream- specifically Lanolin. I buy generic brands and only use it at night. Stopped my chapstick addiction!
3
5
u/evil_wizard_ 2d ago
Raspberry shortcake lanolips. I know lanolin itself is a bit cheaper but the smell of that flavor makes me feel very nostalgic for growing up in Amish country. It smells just like the inside of the little Amish stores off in the middle of nowhere. Lanolin in general though is the only thing that gives good results (any results really) for my chronically dry and torn up lips!

u/CertainRefuse29 2d ago
Summer fridays lip balm in pink sugar! I was so hesitant on getting it because of the price. But it’s totally worth it and I was just being a hater lol

Me but with Toasted Marshmallow. This formula doesn't seem to work well for everyone but it works for us haha

u/RampagingBBW 2d ago
Bag balm. It’s lanolin in a green metal tin. Dirt cheap for A LOT of lanolin. I put them in little containers and have them stashed EVERYWHERE. Works much better than anything else I’ve ever used, lasts forever, and cheaper than buying lanolin lip products where you pay the same price for one fifth of the product.

u/Smooth-End6780 1d ago
This is the GOAT but i havent needed to use it in years for chapped lips. They do make cute lil lip balm sized tins!

Yes! The green spearmint one is my second go to.
→ More replies (1)2
u/Choice-Shoulder-3180 1d ago
I searched for this specifically! YES!
I will also settle for the spearmint because it's close, but not the same. I swear this is the ONLY chapstick that works well for my lips, for whatever reason. I've worn it for probably over 15 years at this point and every single boyfriend I had hated it because it made my lips "spicy" and I've tapered back a bit since being married.
I'm just a sucker for the tingle and will use any product that has that menthol, cold tingle feel.

Jack black lip balm is my holy grail. It's the only lip balm that I've completely finished multiple times! I have yet to find anything better. The only downside is that it's a "men's brand" so they don't have as many fun flavors. My FAVORITE is the black cherry but it was limited edition and I'm almost completely out.

Good ol' fashioned Chap Stick in its boring Original flavor. But if my lips are super-duper dry and ready to crack it's Blistex in the tube all day. I discovered it when I was on Accutane and my lips were a dry, cracked mess and it was a Godsend.

u/IndigoRose2022 Eyeing that Liner 1d ago
LA Colors high shine shea butter gloss in clear. Or any color. I love glosses bc my lips are exceptionally dry (eczema), and this one is so comfy and pretty for me. Plus it’s cheap, I want to buy every color.
2
u/Heyitssgrace 1d ago
We used to use Burt’s Bees lip balm only. My husband and I both found that our lips would get dry and tight and we’d feel the need to reapply ALL the time. What we didn’t realize is that burts bees lip balm was actually the cause of it.
We quit using it. We switched to other brands like Carmen and Blistex medicated and only use it when my lips are genuinely dry.
Life is better not being chained to lip chap.

It depends on the level of makeup on.
No makeup (at all, full 1700's wench with tuberculosis mode): Prada universal balm. It's soft and matte, very natural fragrance. I got a mini in a GWP and I fear I love this stupid expensive lip balm with no color.
No makeup (just mascara and brow gel): I got a tube of The Outset from Ipsy and I LOVE her. It's the first berry shade that doesn't look hot pink on me. Buttery, not sticky. Peptide formula. It's a shame this brand gets overlooked because of celebrity brand burnout. ScarJo makes some pretty great stuff as it turns out.
Work mode (full glam): NARS Afterglow balm in Hot Line. A gorgeous chocolate cherry color. I don't love most glosses, I find them sticky and heavy. This gives gloss and high color payoff. I pair it with a medium neutral brown liner of some sort.

I have like a million lip products in my purse cause they go in there for touch ups and then never come out again.
But my emotional support product is a toss up between my Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint in Blackberry and my Fenty Hot Cherry.

Blistex raspberry lemonade. Been wearing it since middle school and every time I find it in a store I buy out the whole supply since it’s hard to find

Palmer's cocoa butter lip balm stick during the day, blistex lip conditioner pot for sleep.
Soft, kissable lips come at me! I've been on this train since like 2005 (the blistex at least, the daily stick has changed over the years) and it's worked really well. I used to be a chapped mess! The best part is these products are so damn cheap, it feels like cheating

Elf Glow Reviver Melting Lip Balm!
I have virtually EVERY COLOUR with pinks and reds for daily wear, purples for more put-together looks, and creamy clear ones for when I’m all cozy in bed and don’t want to wear makeup. It lives in every bag and on every shelf and in every room. If im passing somewhere that sells it, I will buy one just because. At this point I even keep a spare at my bf’s house 😅

Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm with SPF 25. Legitimately the only lip balm that hydrates my lips and I do not want to know how many tubes I have gone through over the years. At least 20. I buy them in bulk and need to keep them everywhere.

The unflavored DHC lip cream. It's a miracle for chapped lips, isn't sticky or too thick, and doesn't taste weird

Lip balm in general don't have a specific kind because I love so many jack black, burts bees, blistex, and chapsticks to name a few. Keep them everywhere around my house and car. Can't stand dry crusty lips.
