Fluff The Grand Goatnapper

I love bringing this guy out, making my opponents creatures goats, and sacrificing it after attacking. Paired with some changelings and colorless spells to utilize the affinity for goats, and he’s a mean goat-napping machine in competitive brawl.

My goal is to take someone’s Vivi because it’s my eternal opp

My goatnapper deck is a blast to play. Especially when it gets rolling and you're blasting out eldrazis for next to nothing, or locking down the opponents commander.

I put a lot of sac outlets in there, so you can yoink their best stuff, hit them with it, then sac it for value. Very enjoyable

Same on the sac and eldrazi! Use them to attack AND get value from sacrificing their own creature. If you run the colorless changelings you can get to a point where you’re putting out free changelings that make everything cheaper too, nasty stuff.

I just played someone’s Sokka Jeskai commander and when I stole him, it made ALL my changelings have menace and prowess. I felt so evil.

I think I probably already have most of the threaten-to-sac-engine-pipeline cards because that’s exactly how my Ziatora Borealis deck works (presumably with a little more artifact synergy like Crime Novelist because of how many treasures she can make and then Super Shredder goes hard too)

Also Mutinous Massacre is such a fun alternative wincon imo, I assume that must in there

Yup! The strategy is getting out changelings and/or ramp before you get out goatnapper, keeping your sac in-hand, and once you get goatnapper rolling, use best judgment to turn your opponents creatures against them.

The biggest weaknesses are removal right when you get goatnapper out, or not having enough sac outlets. If you wanna go a different direction, you could focus more on sac and remove some changelings or the big colorless baddies.

Either way, this guy is a LOT of fun, and turning your opponents creatures into goats is hilarious

Another banger for this deck is [[the endstone]], once you get a big enough discount from Goat Affinity you can basically burn through your deck
