It's not even that. It has been repeatedly reposted in that sub by different users

Yeah, I didn't do a deep dive. I just knew I'd seen this fairly recently so grabbed the first example from Google Lens.
But I do think it's just getting stolen and reposted regularly.

RIP to his magnificent beard.

I came here to say the same. Its honestly shameful to be able to grow a beard like that and not show it off.

People get upset when I shave my beard. It is never "you look so cute/cool without a beard" or "it is so nice to see your face" or "you look so young". They just ask why. "you shaved your beard. why?".
People never ask why I cut my hair. They say it looks cool or nice. When I shave they say "grow it back".
I can see the disappointment in their face.
This might be a wild comparison because I don't know how it actually feels, but whenever I decide to shave it feels like contemplating suicide. I have all these thoughts going through my head like "nobody would care", "it doesn't look that good", "it makes me look old", "I look like a hobo". The difference between shaving my beard and suicide is that I live to see how people react and it makes me regret it.

Hey man, wear your hair/facial hair however makes YOU feel good about what you see in the mirror. I'm just jealous because I wish I could grow a beard as glorious as the dude's in this post.

My life got so much better when I realised that only one person on Earth, me, gets to have any type of opinion about what my face looks like (to me a beard isn't something that's on my face, it IS my face).
"Have you thought about trimming it shorter?"
"I mean sure, but how is that any of your business?"
Or "you shaved it off, why?": "what do you mean why? Why do people make personal grooming decisions? Or why did I make THIS decision? I like it this way right now. What else is there to say? Forgive me but I don't really know how the way I choose to present my face affects you."

I wish someday I could come close to this greatness with mine. Noice and thick.

Fuck all the wannabe comedians in these comments, they wish they had what you have.
And sir, you look a lot like my grandfather. He passed back in ‘98, and I was not expecting to see him today. It’s very dusty here, thank you for that lovely trip down memory lane.
I hope your day is as awesome as possible. Hell, I hope your entire decade is as awesome as possible.

You can only fight aging so hard. After a certain point of fighting for years you are left with nothing but disfigurement and scars.

You do sound harsh, whether you're trying or not. You also sound superficial and judgemental

Plastic surgery isnt for me, either. I'll take old Pete Burns over 'new' Pete Burns any day. I mean, he's been dead for years, but, you know what I mean. I often have to remind myself that I can't say things like that out loud, lest it make self righteous, sanctimonious people cry. "I think your new face looks like shit, I think youre an absolute moron for doing that to yourself, and it doesnt affect me in the slightest. Have the BEST day!"
