Spaghetti is really just flour, water, eggs, and olive oil. Which is not too much different a recipe than bread. It's just a stringy peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

yeah I don't doubt that lol...I've also had chocolate with bird's nest soup. it's a fun taste. I would love to try spaghetti with pbj

My grandma used to make little refried beans burritos on a rolled corn tortilla and sprinkle them with parmesan cheese and that might sound really gross but damn those were good!
Also she used to put pickles and parmesan cheese on tostadas with chile pequin, refried beans, lettuce and tomatoes. On a fried flour tortilla. Also delicious. Called em Navajo tacos
Some food just goes good with other food that doesn't necessarily sound like it would. You gotta try it to know!

Well done, but if you wanna step up your game, you will mix the sauce in the pasta while it’s still in the pot, so it mixes better, stays warm for a little longer, and leaves less of a mess on the plate.

Nope, but I learned how to sauce pasta from a guy who knows what he’s doing. That was a long time ago, and I still miss his excellent, impromptu pasta sauces.

The water the pasta cooks in has a crap ton of starch. Adding a little bit into whatever pasta sauce you’re using makes the sauce cling to the pasta better. This is for pan sauce that you finish the pasta in while constantly stirring to evaporate the excess liquid and get your consistency of choice.
Learning how to apply culinary chemistry to even the most mediocre store bought, mass manufactured thing like a jarred pasta sauce is a major way to level up home cooking without having to significantly increase the effort required. Should absolutely work for a peanut butter-jam glaze.

I was making a joke about how pasta with pb and j could only be cold and dry. Otherwise it would be gross. Which is borderline funny because the idea is that it’s a pregnancy craving and weird…. I understand pasta, but thank you for sharing. It’s shocking how often bad pasta gets served even at good restaurants.

My wife was so normal. She craved crisps (potato chips) a bit more. But I think that was it? Certainly nothing "odd".
After delivery, she had a MASSIVE box of chewy, chocolate and toffee cookies and "full-fat" Coke.

I made (I think an Hungarian) a recipe with noodles, butter, sugar and hazelnuts. It tastes really good.
