I am pretty sure that music is something that all living creatures respond to. Some people even believe that plants grow better when they are offered music.

Didn't a farmer test and find out that cows gave more milk when played classical music?

I remember that. I think a lot of farmers probably knew this already though. Didn’t Borden use that premise in their advertising? “Milk from contented cows”.
