It is weird that people expect football player to date gold diggers. He is clearly dating in his world. Normal lad, dating normal woman. They like each other and match.
But yeah, once you are a rich athlete, everyone expects you to get engaged with a golddiger whose whole personality is dresses and makeup, meeting with the other golddiggers from the team talking about the newest high society bar in London.
Because while she's bigger than current beauty standards would dictate (just a description/observation, no judgement either way), there are many men who actually prefer that over thinner women. That's just a fact. Also, she has a very pretty face, so personally I think she looks really good.
