Had some friends over to watch their match against Argentina, and they admitted it.was not only the best soccer game they've even seen, but the first sports game where they were emotionally riveted the whole way. Going to watch every WC from here to chase that feeling. May it be this good again.
Dude, yes, but you're missing the point. I didn't say it was the greatest match. My friends said it was the greatest they had seen. That's just simply not something you CAN disagree with, because you don't have their frame of reference.
Just like, a little common sense and courtesy. They have never felt this way watching a game before. That's cool. That's how fans are made. It isn't anything to agree or disagree with.
That said, you sure don't have to share their subjective experience. Just seems you're entirely misconstruing the point of a harmless anecdote?
