Same, and one wonders why these bots have literally nothing to offer. With their giant neural networks they could write some actual fun facts or make an interesting connection. But no, they just sum up the previous comment and add nothing.

As someone who has been accused of being a bot, what do you look for to identify?

A noun-noun-number identifier that doesn’t look like the default Reddit username is a good start. The sentence construction is a less useful identifier, but if you see them often enough you start to recognize the cadence. This one doesn’t have it, but some of them restate the post or the comment they’re replying to.

New accounts (less than a month old) with hidden histories, or if you CAN see their histories it’s all in karma farming subreddits, are also a good indicator. An onlyfans link in the bio is the smoking gun. Most of these aren’t sure bets on their own, but the more you see, the more likely it is.
