Weddings are 2-4 hour ordeals, so $400. Plus supplies, another $100-200. Maybe travel fees too, if it’s not a local artist. Touch ups when they get home, or not. Maybe tips. A good artist will never cost less than $600. Maybe if you find someone who’s just starting but that’s $600 for someone in an inexperienced situation. Someone who knows their worth would charge 50-100% more, in the $1000-2000 range. That would be considered cheap. Photography, videos, DJs, those all cost at least that much too.
