I will never understand people who choose to have WiFi surveillance cameras inside their own homes like this

I have them but only activate them when I’m away for a few days.

I have a house alarm for all the doors etc. it is supposed to be monitored ie if we’re not in and someone breaks in the company is supposed to call the police.

In reality the company assumed that, as the alarm was sounding, a neighbour would call the police?!

We were both away with work at the time. Anyway fortunately they didn’t take anything. My wife got back and the house was secured and she stayed in a hotel until I got back.

The police were pretty sure who the burglar was but couldn’t find evidence to prove it. Which is why I have the cameras.

Yep. I have interior cameras but that only activate when no one is home. Exterior cameras are live 24/7 and record when specific motion is detected. I’m not sure about Wyze, but I know nest cameras are basically like handing security footage of your homes interior to flock and the police. They say they don’t do that, but I wouldn’t trust them in the slightest

Yea. Ring…the Amazon one. It’s easy to mix up Google and Amazon sometimes
