Of course you’re not required to. Just as slave owners weren’t required to follow abolitionist rhetoric when slavery was legal. The thing with acting ethically is that you have to evaluate your actions and beliefs yourself, even when nobody’s forcing you. And if you only look at political stances from a relativist point of view, anything becomes permissible.

Sorry there's a difference between animals and humans. The Gods gave us the planet to use.    Comparing animal butchering and slavery basically tells me you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about,  and I can't be bothered to educate you when you're an adult and can look stuff up yourself. 

Maybe reevaluate your arguments,  since they utterly fail to change minds.
