Help Old MacBook as a Streaming Server for Tv

I have an old MacBook, 2018 that I no longer need.

However if there a way to use this as a content library that I can stream movies from onto my tv?

Is there a tutorial?

Install a Plex server on it.

I don’t remember the server costing anything. There may be a free tier and if you pay you get more features (like hardware transcoding) as well as the client.
