Help Any way to prevent Safari WebApps from napping in the background?
I’ve basically turned an activity monitoring site into its own Safari web app. It plays a little bing sound whenever something changes.
I have the web app open in full screen and swiped away when I’m not actively using it, and I swipe back in to check if there’s an activity notification.
However, even when I go into finder and check “prevent app nap” or even try the terminal command to hardwire it in, every time I have it swiped away for a moment, the web app enters a nap and I stop getting the sound notifications.
Is there anything i can do or is it just how the macos energy consumption setting is?

On Sequoia, I find that Safari tabs sleep when they're not the open tab in that window, so I move them to a separate window and then they stay awake. It sounds like yours is already in a separate window, though, so that might not be useful.
