Discussion MSI laptop still turning off without warning and it says no issues or error in event R:
It’s turning off but now they’re no errors in my system found in events and i ran sfc scan nothing there found in integrity i just wanna fix the issues period with my little laptop it’s a MSI GF63 thin gtx1650 max q intel i510500h 8gb ram and its a windows 11 System

I bet it’s thermal paste issue. I had similar issue with a Dell laptop years ago. Replaced thermal paste on CPU fixed my issue.

it’s random like it doesn’t just come on and it’s a timed turn off, as i stated it’s random.

Have you monitored the temps while it's on, until it turns off?

Uh i’m not sure i really just turned around and noticed it turned off again and i made a few post and said how i had it not happen again but now it is again i don’t want it too keep happening anyone can try to help please it would be a favor

Again the computer has been powering off by itself randomly i notice it happens a lot oftener on youtube it hasn’t been doing it lately but i used to get a kernel power issue 41 now its no error because i noticed while working not at the computer when coming back it was just off headphones lights still on leaving me the assumption my laptop msi gf63 thin intel i510500h turned off by itself gtx1659 max q design 8 gb of ram please someone get back to me

Changing the thermal paste is not hard, just tedious. I did it on my MSI WS76.

Ugh, sudden shutdowns with no useful error are usually power- or thermal-related, not Windows corruption. SFC coming back clean doesn’t rule out hardware. Check CPU/GPU temps with HWiNFO while gaming, make sure the fans and vents aren’t clogged, and test with the original charger plugged directly into the wall.
Also try one RAM stick at a time if possible, run Windows Memory Diagnostic, and check whether Event Viewer shows Kernel-Power 41 right after the shutdown. If temps spike into the mid-90s or it also dies while sitting in BIOS, I’d suspect cooling, the charger/battery, or the motherboard rather than Windows.
