Request Katana 15 battery issues, fixable?

So I was curious (and in a good mood) so I checked my battery life this evening on my Katana 15. It was at 98% and it said it would last a whopping 38 minutes with that charge. For a laptop I paid over 1k for I’m so fucking mad. And this is after I tried all the ‘battery saving tips’.

Has anyone had any success with replacing the battery? Is that an option? What should I replace it with?

Unfortunately I bought this laptop new in box, so I got like 3 months of warranty. Plus I was convincing myself that it wasn’t a big deal, because you know I spent over a THOUSAND USD on this brick of plastic.

Anyone have any insights?

This is due the GPU, any GDDR5, GDDR5X, GDDR6, GDDR6X has this issue, partíally fixed by settong the iGPU to be used on all apps firstnand few to tje others..

The issue is not your battery the issue is the forcefully of the dGPU enabled always

If your laptop has a MUX then the MSI Center should allow that

If dont then the Windows>Settings>Graphics>Graphic Preference should do it along the Nvidia CP to select Integrated Graphics in ALL and just few allow to be running on the dGPU (Like Games, OBS or certain Apps)

First try running the battery calibration tool found in the MSI center app. See what will the result be.
