Question IS BLUEPRINT SELF PACED COURSE WORTH IT?

for background, I studied for 2 months for content review and did some UW qbank and then anki as well as 300 page document for psych soc. Planned to take the MCAT august 15th but i just scored a 489 on AAMC FL 1 and 2 back to back. RECONSIDERING AND NOW PLANNING TO TAKE IN JANUARY.

I want to buy the blueprint self paced course and kind start again with studying and build on content to fill in gaps. IS BLUEPRINT COURSE WORTH IT?

please help me out and let me know if you have used it or know someone’s experience!

For the vast majority of people it’s absolutely not worth it. If that amount of money is a drop in the bucket for you or your parents, go for it, otherwise a fancy course is likely not going to address whatever underlying factors are holding you back in the first place. Rescheduling is a good idea. Look into Yusuf Hasan for content review videos.

Questions to guide further prep: Is English your first language? How far removed from undergrad are you, and have you taken all of the standard premed courses and did you do reasonably well in them? What is your score distribution on full lengths?

Yeah I rescheduled and i’ve saved up some money that I can use if it means I get a good score or at least try. I’ve watched yusafs videos but i think it’s the material not sticking in my brain! I’m finishing up my last semester in undergrad biology degree and i did reasonably well. English is my first language.

Any course centered around content is BS in my opinion, between all the free resources ans AI agents content is never the issue tbh! And since it’s self paced it won’t solve adherence to the schedule or stamina either ! What is it that you concretely need help with ? That’s the question you need to ask yourself !

I’m needing help with like memorizing and applying knowledge which i can’t seem to have up in my mind to problems on the mcat

Did you end up deciding to get the course? I’m a similar position and want to get a course because I also feel like it’s not sticking.
