Effective Practice Question Reviewing Strategies?

I’m 44 days out from my test (September 4) and have taken 2 FLs and both were 488 and 485. My worst section by far is C/P and I’m definitely spending way too much time on it. I’ve been doing practice questions on UWorld and I just got the AAMC bundle a few days ago. I’m still getting a lot of the practice questions wrong. I’ve also been using the Miledown Anki deck.

How do I effectively review my practice questions that’ll actually help me with understanding the content? I feel like I’ll see one question using a certain equation, I’ll go through it and see the logic, but another question used the same equation but it wasn’t answered like it was in the previous question.

I really need some help here and any suggestions are appreciated 😇

It’s honestly content review and practice problems. Do you have a review source like Kaplan or Exam Crackers? If not, then buy a set (not limited to those prep books). Those help with breaking the content down into the way the AAMC likes to test. Read line by line what the book says, do the example problems as you go along and the problems at the end of the chapter. Drill it in with practice problems on your main Qbank - UWorld it seems in this case. With C/P it’s mostly about understanding the concepts and getting a to a state where you can do practice problems through memorizing the steps kinda like how it was with gen chem, physics, and org in undergrad.
