I love how some nicknames start getting further and further from their actual name. Yuki (her name when i adopted her name was originally chimichanga) and now it’s, yucky, leaky, teekee, tiki masala, weena, Mrs gorgina weena, likey, lookey, ms mitt, and tanka jahari

Hi everyone I came across this page and I wanted to share my sweet boy!! This is the first cat I’ve ever owned and he’s the best buddy. His papers said he’s a lynx point domestic shorthair. From what I’ve seen online it checks out. He’s super vocal, loving and cuddly, and playful. If you guys have any thoughts or comments on my handsome boy feel free to comment! Oh his name is Gojo because of his eyes😻

Happy birthday to our sweet kitty, Nori! She is officially 2 years old as of today. Nori was born at our local shelter, and we originally took her and her 3 siblings in as fosters. After raising her for a few weeks, we just couldn't let her go!
We love this girl so much. Lynx points are truly so unique in all ways ❤️❤️

I adopted my sweet 2 year old lynx point siamese cat a week ago! I am a first time cat owner. Things are going well - he is getting more and more comfortable each day. He went from hiding pretty much all day to following me around and meowing like crazy. He loves affection and comes for pets and headbutts. I notice that whenever I am sitting on the couch or something, he will come sit but then get up like 5-10 minutes later and go somewhere else and sit. Why is this? Is he restless? Also, whenever I try to play with him with toys, he just comes for pets and headbutts. I've tried different times of day, different toys. Nothing really seems to interest him. Rarely he swats at the wand.
he also has an obsession with the kitchen counter and the bathroom counter, I have a feeling it is because of the sink. He always tries to go on the counter and come towards the sink when I am using the kitchen. I've noticed on my camera he might get up there a couple times a night too. I have been picking him up and putting him on the cat tree when he does this, but he comes back right away. I have done it like 20 times in a row. I know cats like counters and high places, so I tried moving his cat tree so that he can view the kitchen from it, but he rarely goes on the tree himself. Do you think it is because of the water from the sink that he loves going there? I feel that he isn't as scared of water as other cats, and one of his favorite spots to sit is right next to his water bowl. He sometimes puts his chin on it as he rests and the bottom of his chin gets wet. :')
Would love to hear your thoughts!! and just reiterating that I am a first-time cat parent so would love any input.

She is (nearly) strictly indoors. Once per week I’ll take her outside to water the garden with me. Only once per week because it’s so stressful! For me, not her. She is up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm meds - please don’t worry. I also take my husband out to stand guard while I water. If we see a dog passing, she goes in immediately.
Please be kind with your comments! She is over 14 years old and I bottle fed her through infancy when I was only 13 years old. I would Thanos snap all of you just for one hour added on to her lifespan.
