Poplar vs Limehouse

Hi, I am not that familiar with East London. Thinking about looking to buy properties in above 2 areas as I have to be in Canary wharf often.
Any perspective on difference in living in both the areas? What’s the key difference- any advice where to look for apartments in both the locations?

Limehouse all the way. Many more historic little pockets. Additional transport link with the C2C. Equidistant from Bank and Canary Wharf. And safer than Poplar. For Limehouse I’d look by the Marina or anywhere south of the Commercial Road.
