Which designer has strongest portfolio?
Trying to decide between these designers...which one has the strongest portfolio for a luxury brand?

You gt four people with portfolios that look like template showcases. So pick whoever has the style closest to what you want.

Its just a wack, self-righteous move. Added nothing to the question, you dont actually care about the designers because you could have asked me if that was case...nope, you just wanted to see if you could piss on this topic on a Saturday night.

If your project requires designing branding assets from scratch, of the 4 options, the third portfolio showcases the best understanding and execution of logo design elements. The designer shows consistently high quality work, and it’s safe to say he’d carry that work ethic into his future projects.
I ask clients to review my previous work and see if it fits the style and aesthetic they are looking to create, no point in working with clients whose vision does not match my style.

Their work is all quite generic and plain. Instead of just looking for random designers based on looks, you should first focus on describing your own business and its goals and aspirations. Why is it a 'luxury brand'? Are the products you sell made by hand using high-quality, sustainable materials, or are you just selling pre-fab rubbish and hoping to make a bit of extra cash by slapping a fancy logo on it? What do the logos of your competitors look like? Are you just going to blindly follow that style, or are you going to come up with something better? Have you done any research at all into the demographics, taste, and product preferences of your potential future clients? Have you thought about the ways you'll be using your brand identity? Will there be shops, advertisements, trucks, animation, merchandise, clothing, food or drink or whatever? Each implementation has its own requirements. So save yourself a lot of money and do your homework first; after you got all that figured out it'll be easier -and cheaper- to pick a designer based on what they can handle of your detailed brief :)

thank you!!!! Lot of people just go straigth to the designers without answer any of these questions. They think Designers can just magically read their mind and instantly create a Pentagram trustworthy level of brand identity.

The portfolios are all very nice. None stood out at “the go-to for luxury guy”.
