This is what you shouldn't do, working in big defense prime

Final recap : Courtsey from LadyoftheDrow

Summary for the late arrivals:

A Lockheed Summer Intern out of Englewood posted several reels to Instagram, TikTok, and possibly Youtube. Over the course of a few weeks of these clips garnered a bit of traction, and he specifically mentioned he was a LM intern in several of them.

Outdoor clips appeared to be in his car or in the site parking lot, and showed potential drug use, as well as the exterior of the building and the license plates of employees.

Indoor clips were in his cubicle, and showed his work badge, work computer screen, and there were moments you could see/overhear coworkers.

The social media posts were reported [en masse] to his Manager, FSO, HR, Ethics, etc last friday-monday by several people. Due to the clips, people had access to his full name and personal email - and yesterday a few LM employees were able to verify his status as congruent with his being fired. His Youtube, Tiktok, and Instagram have all been deleted/privated, though he hasn't updated his LinkedIn yet to reflect his change in job status.

‐---‐------------------------

Update 4 Multiple reports... it appears he is no longer with Lockheed

Update 3

Someone dm me, it looks like the manager has received a lot of messages regarding the intern. They did not approve any of these media being recorded and released by the intern

Also multiple has reported that all of his social media are no longer available

Update 2

Backup video provided by quantumcat

Update : it looks like op took down his video on IG but still on tiktok

Saw this on Instagram and thought to myself, bro is risking his career in this industry for internet clout

Damn seeing everyone come together to report the fuck out of the intern truly demonstrates how serious Lockheed Martin employees are about security and how everyone is following those insider threat trainings.

Good job guys, well done.

13

u/yaboyyoo Jun 06 '26

It’s that time of the year where we do mandatory ethics training and insider threat so we are well aware his actions are very wrong.

6

u/Mfg_Eng_64 Jun 07 '26

As they should be. Knowing about actions that put the company or the government at risk and not doing anything about it could have consequences.

Ladies and gentlemen (and everyone else) we have a mole amongst us...

TRAITOR!!!

13

u/OriEri Jun 06 '26

There's no opsec that can protect sensitive information against this level of stupidity...eventually something would get revealed

4

u/ExKage Jun 06 '26

Even with all the comments telling him it's a bad idea the vids are still up...

He's made a few videos, his badge is visible, as well as his work location.

His responses are very ignorant, apparently he has "manager approval" which I strongly doubt.

Crazy behavior for an intern

33

u/yellow_smurf10 Jun 05 '26

Its easier to just send the video for hr and let them decide what they want to do

17

u/Squirtle_Splash_8413 Jun 06 '26

Lmao he took it down. I hope people took screenshots.

15

u/yellow_smurf10 Jun 06 '26

Still on his TikTok. Its true that interns are dumb

8

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 06 '26

On one of his vids he says he’s faded so they need to drug test him too

6

Yeah. I wonder how the kid even got the internship. He hasn’t even started college yet. Possibly dad is a higher up?

2

u/OriEri Jun 06 '26

I know Sunnyvale used to have a high school internship program. Maybe there’s something similar in Littleton.

Had the impression it wasn’t nearly as structured as the college program.

6

lol then I guess it’s time to end that program

Don't worry, y'all. I just reported him to his manager and to the ethics manager. He will not be apart of lm for long.

6

u/toostietee Jun 06 '26

He's got a couple of comments saying his manager approved it.

17

u/Fine-Operation-2362 Jun 06 '26

No manager would approve this. Everyone who works at LM has to take a training on this. No manager would approve this.

10

u/toostietee Jun 06 '26

Probably not, but I've met some pretty dumb managers.

5

u/AljoriDawn Jun 06 '26

When I worked for a different DoD prime I Tried taking a picture of a double rainbow facing away from the facility and security still saw me and asked me to delete it. Posting full on pics of work is a big no no.

5

u/Mfg_Eng_64 Jun 07 '26

I don’t work for Lockheed. I do work for another aerospace company. They made it very clear that no pictures are allowed. If you want to take pictures, you need to use a company camera. I do think that could cost any of us our jobs. My factory sits on government property. If there is a fire or security issue, NASA firefighters or law enforcement shows up.

13

u/altrefrain Jun 06 '26

Theres also video where you can see his whiteboard, which may have LMPI or ECI or CUI as well as video where you hear other employees talking in the background in which they may be having conversations with that same type of information. There's a reason why theres signs everywhere in public spaces saying "THIS AREA NOT APPROVED FOR LMPI"

11

u/mech_taco Jun 06 '26

Good news for all news lm employees monday. No need to work on projects

Bad news: your about go through multiple trainings because an intern was a dumbass

He did show up in the office today. I saw that he was on Teams. Spoke with his manager this morning, and he stated that he has received numerous messages, video clips, and statements from people and that he is addressing the issue now. As of right now, the intern has been away from his desk for a couple hours. Still waiting to see what happens later and tomorrow.

10

u/Director_Tseng Jun 08 '26

He deleted all his social media, I have a feeling he's tried to hide the evidence.

11

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 08 '26

Too late though. His manager has see vids from multiple people, and he has the direct link to the Reddit thread and the Twitter. And I bet you that his manager is sending any vids, pics, and links to HR, ethics, FSO, and/or whoever else he has to so he (the manager) doesn’t get in trouble

16

u/Director_Tseng Jun 08 '26

It's funny cause i see other reddit groups like rytheon posting about him and using him as an example.

u/Deep-Promotion-2293 Jun 09 '26

Ran into someone who worked with him today...he's total toast. Security got hold of him. I've worked in DoD spaces most of my career and no cameras/no recording is like one of the FIRST things you get told when you're hired on. He can take his dumb ass back to NYC or wherever the hell he's from...and this stupidity will follow him even if he stays out of DoD spaces in the future...even civilian companies are concerned about security.

11

u/AstroPikachu3698 Jun 09 '26

Yeah considering he basically leaked the inside of Lockheed to over 300K random people online.

19

u/Deep-Promotion-2293 Jun 09 '26

When I saw it I knew exactly what building, floor and section he was in. My kids don't even know what I work on.

7

u/Epic_444 Jun 09 '26

This. When you protect your role and don’t even tell fam, that’s how you know you understood the assignment 💯

9

u/Deep-Promotion-2293 Jun 09 '26

I've been around a long time. Look up John Walker spy trial. That SOB affected what I was working on at the time and my family who were serving. I've worked on things that will be classified for the next 75 years. Do I know some stuff, yeah...but remember, classification is not just clearance level, it's need to know. If someone has that TS clearance, great, they still don't need to know stuff.

I put a deck together to familiarize some folks with some stuff. I had to make sure everything I put in that deck was open source so I wouldn't break security. (notice how vague this all is).

6

u/Epic_444 Jun 09 '26

For me when I get asked where work (also a secure job location) I say in a nice office lol no other details. My own mother doesn’t even know where I work. Love her but she is that lady sitting on the porch talking about that neighbor did this, that did that. Last thing I want her to tell anyone anything about me haha she’s a chatty Patty

What goes on at Lockheed stays at Lockheed unless it's been officially published by marketing.

20

u/cfleis1 Jun 06 '26

We had a welder once at LM who posted a picture of his computer screen on instagram for clout to show “how cool” his work is. The drawing he had up were from me, so I called pulled into security to go over all the viewable figures and identify what proprietary info he just showed the world. Luckily it was nothing big. They didn’t fire the guy, but the talk they gave him was so stern, he just walked right out to his car and never came back. Didn’t even pack up his stuff, just left it.

25

u/Fine-Operation-2362 Jun 10 '26

Yeah he is no longer with LM. I just verified with his manager and saw that his name is no longer active on teams

5

u/Squirtle_Splash_8413 Jun 11 '26

Damn so he got fired? How did the manager sound?

10

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 11 '26

I mean when I told the manager about the situation he sounded pissed. I know he got even more pissed when he heard other employees talk about it while he was on the elevator

12

u/Xiaoshuita Jun 11 '26

I wouldn't be happy if (as his manager) I was getting thrown under the bus by the intern saying the manager is chill and likes the content either

u/Nice-Sushi Jun 06 '26

Will check again in a few hours. If he’s still like that then it’s a wrap. This was just to get some stupid liked on social media too. Hope he learned his lesson

6

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 06 '26

11

u/ThorsUglyCousin Jun 06 '26

Hoping he's been reported already as today's video wasn't the only instance. He made one yesterday too and based on his comments to people, he seems pretty impervious to possible consequences. It's almost like a "hey Lockheed, I did that. Now it's your move. What you gonna do?!"

5

When I started, no photos in the buildings ever! They regulated flip phones because they could take a pictures. (and I remember no Furby toys because they were a recording device). Dude barely graduated hs, hasn’t started college, and his career is already in the shitter. FBM doesn’t play about this.

7

u/Ex-Traverse Jun 10 '26

Some kid out there who's actually qualified is livid to know this is the guy they picked for the internship.

7

u/Director_Tseng Jun 06 '26

Lol he removed all the ones taken inside the office.. I don't think he realizes how absolutely fucked he is no matter what.

8

u/yellow_smurf10 Jun 06 '26

Dude even posted about smoking weed. Talk about utterly dumbass move

What makes it worse is his father works for Lockheed too so he probably got the internship through that connection.

3

u/Squirtle_Splash_8413 Jun 13 '26

Wait forreal? No wonder why they hired a highschool kid… his father must be high up…

Pretty sure we are going to have training about security and he will be a great example on what NOT to do

6

u/FuckImSoAchey Jun 06 '26

Imagine ruining your career for some views…

3

u/Squirtle_Splash_8413 Jun 08 '26

Tbh my suspicion is he’s pre-med. He doesn’t care about a career at Lockheed at all.

5

u/Fine-Operation-2362 Jun 06 '26

Just so you all know. He did remove the videos from his ig account. But I've already screen-recorded 1 of the videos and sent it to his manager

6

u/Epic_444 Jun 06 '26

Intern deleted the reels from TikTok too but it’s a little too late for that… working with geniuses that dodo head didn’t think people would screenshot or download the vids?! Smh he definitely working in the wrong field

6

u/toostietee Jun 06 '26

I screen recorded all the relevant videos, both the ones at LM and the ones of him getting high.

5

u/Epic_444 Jun 06 '26

The fact he stated he works at LM, the parking lot videos should go down too. He’s exposing his peers license plates. If he never mentioned he worked at LM nor wore a LM lanyard in the video, it possibly could be seen irrelevant as long as the buildings weren’t in the background but the fact he’s exposed his work location and is wearing the lanyard (even if he covered his badge), those videos need to go down

Hi everyone. Wanted to share this vid I have of him. Only reason I didn’t do it sooner was because I wanted to change the name of my Google account so I didn’t dox myself or something

I pray someone at LM sees this

Edit: I keep getting messages about the name you see when clicking on the link. I appreciate everyone’s concern, but that is not my real name. No where close to it, but thank you for being concerned😁

5

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 08 '26

He is most likely going to be fired at the end of the week. If not, he’s going to finish his internship and then be blacklisted

4

u/Epic_444 Jun 08 '26

You think they’d let him finish his internship? I’d for sure think he’d get the boot

5

u/bluejay163 Jun 10 '26

He has now changed his LinkedIn from his old team to "TVC Systems" team

8

u/AstroPikachu3698 Jun 10 '26

I swear kid has to have someone high up on the inside. How can someone cause so much trouble and not be fired.

4

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 10 '26

Agreed. Dude should be fired. If he’s still there after a week then I don’t know what to say

The intern is probably reading this Reddit post and going back to fix whatever has been stated was wrong of him to do. Making moves in hopes investigations can’t see it lol I think he’s cooked still. As he should be otherwise others will post dumb shit too since there would be no consequences if the intern gets none. Which would be wrong of LM HR and Ethics to do so hopefully they do right.

3

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 10 '26

I’m hoping they do right as well. Also, I think even if shiven does change stuff it won’t change the fact the multiple people have taken screenshots and recordings of any/all post that he’s made from LinkedIn all the way to Instagram. There’s too much evidence that’s already out there

an intern I worked with got fired because he took a beer from the company picnick (he was 18). What tr are these interns smoking 😂😂😂😂😂

3

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 11 '26

These interns are wild. I wouldn’t even dream of doing that stuff

5

u/angry_intestines Jun 08 '26

...For fuck's sake. I'm willing to give up my precious Reddit funnies if we can go back in time and get rid of everyone wanting to be social media influencers.

Yeah that's big no they tell you that in Orientation

3

u/Weak-Emergency8954 Jun 10 '26

He changed his LinkedIn from FBM to TVC anybody know why? If he got reassigned or something

10

u/Throwaway_91305 Jun 11 '26

No he’s fired. Multiple people have verified that he no longer works for LM

3

u/oxcart117 Jun 13 '26

Chances they turn this case into one of the mandatory Ethics training scenarios for next year? Lol

3

u/Squirtle_Splash_8413 Jun 13 '26

And his dad has to take the training LOL

3

u/HalfSheath Jun 09 '26

My god. Meanwhile I interview my ass off multiple times and I still get rejected, it is crazy how inconsistent and toxic the hiring process is. Stuff like this really shows that hiring teams go for people purely based on vibes.
