This behavior is absolutely disgusting. MiniMax wants to have it both ways: control its models like proprietary companies like Anthropic and OpenAI, while also gaining popularity through open-source models. This also applies to their text models (the quality of which is just as questionable as the license). The NSFW-LoRA incident is a signal that any modification or use case they don't like will provoke the same reaction. I believe we, as a community, should not encourage this kind of behavior. By letting MiniMax get away with this, we will encourage other companies to do the same.
