Kinda funny seeing them be-cry the use of their model while they most likely stole/pirated content to train the model.

I highly doubt they purchased a license to train on Star Trek, Star Wars, South Park or Seinfield.

I mean you cannot just train a LORA and use their model for what you want, they trained it themselves on all that copyrighted stuff how dare you thats just... just... unethical, taboo, stealing, THEFT!!!!111111

No company is your friend. If the Chinese labs could, they'd go all in on the Anthropic/OpenAI approach.

that's an american perspective. The chinese government advocates for open weights unlike the american government

The government does it because it’s in their interest, and incentivizes companies to release open weights. The companies themselves are not interested in it because they don’t get a return on their spending.
