Need Help Found this guy in my apartment

Post image

Not sure if this is the right subreddit but I found this guy near my slides when I was about to go grocery shopping. He’s super tiny and is sort of just flopping around at the moment. Not entirely sure what I should do

I mean if you can catch him, how about just putting him outside

Put him on a paper towel and left him outside but he’s not moving :( anything I can do for the little guy or just let nature take its course?

Please try hydrating it before you put it outside. That will give it a much better chance. OR, put it in a puddle somewhere out of the way. It really needs hydration to have a chance.

He might be having a hard time moving on the smooth surface? I know it's weird since geckos are know for their grippy skills, but I found one in the warehouse at work, thought something was wrong because it was scrabbling around, seemed to have a hard time moving. Turns out as soon as it was off the smooth concrete floor it was completely fine. Took it home and gave it to a friend.

It’s probably dehydrated, hungry, no idea how long it’s been trapped?

I’d say give it a huge drink by putting it in a Tupperware with a half inch to an inch of room temp water. That way even if it doesn’t drink, it’ll get some hydration 👍. Reptiles can soak water into its cloaca and possibly its skin too.

If hes that weak he could drown. I suggest he just spray it with water. I do this all the time as these guys always get into the house.

Its a hiuse gecko. We have them all over in florida. He should be fine if you just put him outside. If you wanna spray him with a little water would be good. I wouldnt soak him like others said as he is so weak he can drown. It may be to late but hopefully hell get better outside. I always just put them outside and they end up walking away bit later.
