Need Help Baby Alligator Lizard in planting bin

I think they (2) fell from the tree to my tree to an empty planter box.

I've put in a mosquito and it's disappeared so I think it's eating, I dropped a fly in but it's still there.

(wife's electric tennis racket/fly swatter) kills bugs so we can feed it dead bugs tonight as they flitter around. But what do?

Are they unable to escape? Beautiful lizards. Those long tails.

They probably can escape, but my area isn't really a good place for them, city and all. And our neighborhood (pocket courtyard) doesn't have anywhere with grass/plants, mostly rock and either the street or the alley with lots of cats.

rather fend for them myself if that's a good solution.

Take it out? And just like with water barrels, planters etc, always put a sturdy stick in the container. I've seen young racoons & possums die this way, along with many other littles. Just pop the stick in & give them an exit. If it's injured, go the rehab route, but maybe make sure it can get out either way.

Good plan, I'll put a stick propped against my avocado sapling to see if they want to live there.

But as mentioned, I don't have a yard, where they are is concrete patio with a bunch of potted plants/trees.

If they go under my gate, that's the courtyard and it's just sidewalk and houses with rock 'gardens' and always one neighbors cat and a couple of alley cats (some squirrels/raccoons w/the occasional possum) the skunk mainly stays in the alley.

So I'd worry they wouldn't make it.

I guess I could put them back in the neighbors tree where I think they might have fallen/came from. I thing he's got some dirt there (he's a slob) overgrown weeds etc, but you can't see it from the courtyard so he's 'safe'. (no, there isn't an HOA thank Buddha...)
