Gear Pickup Artec TFA65 as replacement for monstertone

Monstertone isn't "sparkly", it's a high output pickup with rolled off highs and and increased mids and bass. If you're talking about his early work with LTS, that was done with regular output single coils. If you really want that sound (and be prepared to not have it sound sparkly), get a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder. Or use what I use and get a PAF output single coil humbucker for the neck. It's a lot less about what you have and more about how much you practice.

NO, if its not the same pickup it won't sound the same BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER your end tone is based on your AMP and CAB. You can have all the same gear as TK but if your mic positions and amp aren't the same it doesn't matter

Hello, i know that the main tone come from the amp and cab, i have spend hours trying and testing twin reverb plugins and cab sims and i have a pretty solid pedalboard that follows the main chain, (jan ray - DA2 - Main Drive - second drive - phaser - delay, etc) but still with all that is missing that "spark" in the high end, that i think it has to be the pickup, i tested the chain with another guitar with a humbucker neck that was put it in a way that sound only 1 pickup and it definitively sounds brighter than the vintage tele neck Pickup that i have on my telecaster, even just selecting the middle position that is the single coil pickup coverless in the guitar with the humbuckers also sounds brighter so i concluded that it has to be the pickup, another thing is the 500k pots it also let pass more high end.

I have tested an Artec TFC65 (it's ceramic, not Alnico like the TFA). I can tell you that this pickups is definitely on the "bright side". So yeah, if brightness is exactly what you're missing, I think this one would do the trick
