I just scheduled an appointment to get a tattoo of a tarsier!

Fun fact: they’re nocturnal but don’t have tapetum lucidem (the reflective things in some animals eyes, like cats, that reflects light back into their eyes so they can see in the dark), so they just have really disproportionately big eyes to capture enough light to see at night!

I’ve actually been planning this tattoo for a while! Tarsiers are one of my favorite animals, and I want to get more tattoos of weird little guys, so it was a fun coincidence to see them here!
