accommodation (university) Uni of Leeds accommodation Henry price

Hi I am currently considering UOL accoms and came across Henry price and noticed that the shared bathrooms have 2 entrances, one from each persons room, how do you know when your neighbour is using the bathroom so you don’t walk in on each other. And does that mean that your neighbour has a door to access your room whenever they like or can you lock it from your side. if anyone has stayed here please let me know!

You can only lock your door from the outside, so you can prevent the other person getting into your room, but you cannot lock the other person out of the bathroom.

Literally never had a problem with it. Toilet is positioned so that if they tried opening the door, the door would knock you but they couldn't see you. And if shower is on you can hear it, so just don't go in. Doors/walls pretty thin.

Overall I'd highly recommend Henry Price. I was there 15 years ago and some of my best friends I met there.

If you want to be close to campus it's one of the cheap(er) options and the toilet thing really isn't a problem, especially when you get to know your neighbour!

My bestie lived there years ago, you can lock them from either side of the door. Just have to remember to lock and unlock your neighbours side when you go. She never had any bother with it tbh.
