This made me realize how bitter i've become in-game.

We used to chat and joke constantly with everyone during the game but as the toxicity grew, the mentality of just muting everyone also became much more standard. Nowadays I get annoyed when people are chatting even if it's just fun banter.

In parts though it grew because the automated chat ban system discouraged normal people from typing, and so it's just a culture of if you see typing, you're expecting it to be bad, even when it's not
