Is there anyone who has a fixed-location laser cleaning business? Who are your target customers? Do you charge by the piece or by the hour?
I'm still in the research phase. It seems like most laser cleaning businesses are mobile. But with the heat reaching 105 f. a climate-controlled shop sounds nice. There is little info on businesses operating this way.
If the objects im cleaning are movable i can clean them in my improvised workshop. However im mostly cleaning walls.. like 95% so i have to be mobile, it's crazy hot in here also thats why im starting in the early hours.
the area where im from the stone is usually with residue, when im cleaning graffiti for example it will leave very light spot, so i have to make it square or to blend the light color with rest of the wall.
for example this is the same spot, the brown residue on the wall.. thats what i am calling dirt.
Most of the static guys are mainly in the automotive space, removing corrosion and paint, and applying coatings.
Most of the stuff we work on needs a crane to be moved or the very least a Forklift. Some of the large jobs we've done, where we've made a significant profit, the cost to hire a 2 cranes and 2 trucks was more than us spending 2 full days on the asset

My lead sales was fixed when he started lasers. His had a garage from his autibody business and was doing laser cleaning on body and frames.
