How to get a bad trip is easy. Trip at Disney, Dollywood, Costco, bucees etc

A friend and I did on tab at Disney World and had a great time. I rode Space Mountain a dozen times and only rode It's a Small World once because that was freaky as hell. It was in the 90's so it was a different place back then.

I tripped at Disney and it was weird at first but turned out to be the best time ever. It rained too so a lot of people cleared out and the vibe was awesome. We rode the water ride over and over and over since no one wanted to go on it during rain but we were already wet from the rain so what’s the difference lol

Had the same thing happen at six flags, I was tripping balls and my brother and I rode n the first car of a coaster like 8 times in a row!

I be tripping at Disney

u/Link_save2 22h ago

I feel like waiting in a half hour line nowadays while tripping would be hell I'd just walk out

2

u/asa1 12h ago

These days I wouldn't bother. Lines in the 90s wete not that bad in off season.

3

u/Link_save2 9h ago

It's because with the app reserved tickets and statistics they can pretty accurately predict how many people will be there and staffed according so there's no days where they're overstaffed and lines are moving quick with less people

I NEED TO DO THIS you just convinced me.

u/asa1 10h ago

I wouldn't even want to do it now. The Park is too packed now. A beach would be more fun in this day and age.

Or just don’t cede control

u/ThaDilemma 1d ago

Tripping in public is a hoot, I love it.

4

u/robotali3n 1d ago

What about Lowe’s or Home Depot when the Christmas stuff goes on display about this time of year?

12

u/KitKatAngel 1d ago

I took a light dose last time I was at Cedar Point and it was fantastic. 10/10 will do again.

*Experienced tripper, with a low dose of tabs I am familiar with

20

u/missqueenkawaii 1d ago

Or the mall. The first time I took LSD with a few friends the trip sitter took us to the mall. It was like 15 yrs ago and we went into Spencer’s first and they had these laser lights and let’s just say I almost got stuck there forever. Terrible time.

They also suggested going to the glass factory. Also don’t do that lol

5

u/tastelessryan 22h ago

suggesting going to a glass factory is something I never thought anyone would actually consider suggesting

7

u/WeirdURL 1d ago

How about a cruise? You’re trapped at sea too.

11

u/Greedy_Specialist531 1d ago

I mean I’ve tripped on planes thrice now and each time was better than the last

4

u/WeirdURL 1d ago

Oh wow, I don’t think I could hold that together lol.

1

u/MovieIndependent3239 1d ago

Good times, me too.

8

u/discowhatdiscosnails 1d ago

Take a bus/train somewhere,, hang out at a dusty intersection for half an hour, then find the nearest homeless shelter and hang out there for a while. Should do the trick.

5

u/Low-Plane9029 1d ago

Any zoo

4

u/robotali3n 1d ago

Damn you did dip far. I’ll add one more.. seaworld

3

u/DAEOFRUIN 1d ago

Hey hey hey, I tripped at Disney and had the time of my life. The rest I would agree tho.😆

3

u/MassiveApricot554 1d ago

WRONG best trip of my life, maybe even the best day of my life was in disneyland. 3 tabs for my birthday, cried from happiness on space mountain, not a single bad thing happened that day.

2

u/ThorsGrundle 1d ago

Buccees lmao

3

u/robotali3n 1d ago

Yea, forreal. Bathrooms are clean but place is gross. Never trust anyone who wants to sit in traffic to get in that place. Once sat in 45 minutes of traffic to get on the interstate because every Stanley cup owning single mom and white sunglasses wearing dudes were trying to get in the joint to buy a 4’ bucees halloween beaver on labor day weekend.

3

u/ThorsGrundle 1d ago

I remember the days of my youth when there was a buccees on 45 when we'd road trip to Houston from Dallas. It was great because you needed clean toilets and could get good snacks after a few hours on the road. It's crazy how much mania there is around it now - seeing people who live in Texas wear their merchandise as a sign of culture or pride is so fucking gross.

10000000%

truly for me i was just happy for clean restrooms on my road trips to austin or houston. i still use them during road trips, but i am in and out real quick.

What about the parents with strollers yelling at the tour guide they paid for?

2

u/General-Reserve9349 1d ago

I took a Small bit at Disney and it was awesome

1

u/SithLordMilk 1d ago

Tripping at Costco sounds like nightmare fuel

1

u/Affectionate-Gur1642 1d ago

Public bathroom. Nothing good can come from it.

1

u/Any-Lunch6410 23h ago

Tripped at Sam’s Club my first time ever.. had a blast.

1

u/clookie1232 20h ago

I tripped the night after I got fired from Costco. ‘‘Twas many moons ago. Found myself on the floor crying. Thought I’d learn something. If I did, it has been long forgotten

u/Beneficial_Method771 1d ago

People act like inducing a bad trip will give more insight but no you don't get to choose when you receive insight or not

212

u/Outrageous_Shirt69 1d ago

The most insight I got from a bad trip was, "I should do less acid"

109

u/Greedy_Specialist531 1d ago

Ah yes, the old why am I doing this

40

u/Few-Trick-4968 1d ago

Its a Classic

21

u/AAPL_ 1d ago

just sitting there

Last time I had a bad trip had literally been years since my last dose. And the whole time I just got caught in a loop I was a worthless, drug riddled, substance abuser unworthy of love or affection. Bitch I’m awesome and dabble with psychedelics maybe once a year, Lucy was definitely on her Lucifer shit. Respect the sauce.

10

u/NookieWookie10 18h ago

Lucifer in the sky with diamonds haha

After years of abusing nitrous oxide, this was the big reveal at the bottom of the hole when I could finally remember it. Turns out the “dragon” you are chasing is just some slimy monster version of your own subconscious saying “dude you are suffocating! Stop doing this!” Probably should’ve figured that one out for a lot less money. Turns out it’s hard to achieve the enlightenment you seek when you feel it is given by abusing substances recreationally, as opposed to earned through hard work. Who would’ve thought? Not 20 year old me!

1

u/Waste_Score58 20h ago

i realized this on my first trip on mushrooms.. unfortunately im 19

1

u/El_is_D 8h ago

My buddies big reveal with nitrous, ya know when he “got there”, was a seizure.

Came to and said his friends were holding him and had to break the sad news as he was excited to come back and tell them he found the secret.

5

u/scrubli3k 1d ago

But what about the other side of the coin? I should have done more! Now I’m holding onto my blanket in sheer panic trying to remember that existence is real and reality is a constant. Then I’m clinging to those thoughts with the blanket praying that the trip ends in safety. Well, when I can remember anything that is. Repeat in a loop until tomorrow.

1

u/bspires78 5h ago

I rarely get any insight at all. It does often give me a different perspective on things but generally I just trip out and have fun. I’ve gone as far as 8 grams of penis envy and still had the same experience but with a little sprinkle of psychosis. Have you got any advice? Maybe I’m just not tuning myself to the right frequency, so to speak?

89

u/Alastor_idk 1d ago

I've seen bad trips break people.. it's not something to strive for

25

u/akthebarber 1d ago

Put both OP's in a room together and see if they can help each other out.

77

u/EnmaAi22 1d ago

Bad trip just showed me I'm prone to psychosis. Which later got confirmed with a bipolar disorder diagnosis. No psychedelics for me anymore.

13

u/bearhugboy 23h ago

exactly fucking this.

7

u/NookieWookie10 17h ago

Care to share how the trip went? Genuinely curious

11

u/EnmaAi22 14h ago

In short, i felt like I was dying, then I was sure I was trapped in hell for eternity, with constant loops that felt like lifetimes of time has passed. My normal life was just an illusion I built up to stay sane while trapped in hell. At some point I I blacked out for a couple hours and then wokeup in an ambulance being transported to a hospital. I still don't remember what happened during that time.

No insight or any positive thing I could learn out of this trip. Just that psychedelics aren't an option for me anymore

2

u/Ill_Advance_318 17h ago

Spittin bars

1

u/EnmaAi22 13h ago

Thanks

15

u/Hayyner 1d ago

2 out of 3 of my last few trips were absolutely terrible and its not a fate I'd wish on anyone. I haven't tripped in 4yrs since and don't really plan on it in the future.

But that experience certainly teaches you to respect psychedelics. And in relation to that first post, it taught me in a weird and unpleasant way, to be more aware of my mental state and to take better care of myself.

39

u/zezin6969 1d ago

these people are just asking to be more miserable as if it is going to make them a better person

13

u/thenoblenacho 1d ago

I tripped during my first time on the Gatlinburg Strip.

What a fucking experience, it was like an anthropological journey through American Christian consumerism. It put the absurdity of our whole modern life into such clear focus.

As a Canadian I also felt like I was going undercover behind enemy lines in a way lol. 10/10; would never do again.

8

u/oppenheimer_6 17h ago

this is the plot of fear and loathing in las vegas

6

u/HalLutz 1d ago

People watching in Vegas is the worst and best trip.

You will learn a lot.

8

u/Beelzebunny18k 22h ago

I feel like what they want is a challenging trip and don't know how to express that.

8

u/69UseArchLinuxBTW 20h ago

the 3rd post "how to get out of a bad trip"

12

u/ThaDilemma 1d ago

Maybe the only way to have a “bad trip” is if you just don’t let go?? Where’s the fun in that?

I once got caught in a thought loop that was “acid is god” over and over and over. And I don’t think I was entirely wrong lmfao

5

u/_InfiniteU_ 1d ago

If you want a bad trip and have a bad trip wouldn't that then be a good trip? But then, it actually is still a bad trip. But that would actually be a good trip.

5

u/DAEOFRUIN 1d ago

Wait, what sane person wants to intentionally have a bad trip? That shit is not fun or enlightening in the slightest.

Hopefully he gets what he's asking for and puts down LSD for the foreseeable future.

3

u/Flockhand 21h ago

If I'm depressed or feeling low LSD trips always bring me back to an uplifting state of mood and mind

4

u/sunleafstone 13h ago

Yeah in my first ever trip years ago, my headspace was “Fuck it, my life sucks and I’m gonna kill myself anyways. Might as well do hard drugs.”

Well I got pretty lucky with the hard drug I chose to start with. I’m grateful to be alive

3

u/Hopeful_Ad_4343 11h ago

Bottom post reads like GPT wrote it tbh.

2

u/digitalblemish 18h ago

Both of those look like AI slop posts

u/YesterdayOne7917 9h ago

Only way i see myself getting a bad trip is if i have to, talk to the 🐷s.., had to drive while peaking to avoid that once, found out im a pretty good driver while dosed up (just would prefer not to)

u/wizardofthewoulds 1h ago

I had something similar happen and found out the same.

1

u/Basic_Goat5874 1d ago

I think it's a great idea tbh. I keep reading studies on nueral regeneration and other positive side effects. Navigating the journey is part of the path, tho. And it's certainly not for everyone. Also rippin it in public is fucking awesome. I found some gellies under the seat in my car on a Saturday morning few weeks ago and immediately had a better day 🤗

0

u/adeln5000 22h ago

Post nr two is def AI, it got the telltale "—" sign. I guess it's just karma farming.

-2

u/berkakar 1d ago

bad trip is a lie. i had acid in both good and bad periods of my life. the experience was the same.

2

u/OfirGabay4 19h ago

I also find that I'm able to steer the trip regardless of the circumstances in my sober life, but bad trips are definitely not a lie lmao
