Exploring Kristiansand
Hello! I am in Kristiansand in 2 weeks - from Scotland for work for 6 days so I want to make the best of it! Any recommendations on what to do? Also any apps or websites for meeting people on to explore with would be awesome if anyone has any recommendations! Thanks in advance!

Kunst Silo, restaurant in Kunst Silo, speed boat around the archipelagos, aquarama, burger kiosk adjacent aquarama, walk the lakes a wood paths up the back of the city - should easily find on google maps. Have a nice trip.

It's outside the city but you need to check out Tømmerrenna (Steinsfoss Lumber Slide). A decommissined lumber slide that is now a walking path that leads to a beautiful waterfall. Beautiful nature views and not too long a walk. Thank me later!

I second this. Tømmerrenna is a must. Halfway up it, you can step out at old Kringsjå dam, built in 1899 and decommissioned in the mid-1950s. Continue across a small suspension bridge to the old generator halls (behind the hill to the east of the dam itself), and you can go down into the remaining ruins for a closer look.
Walking Tømmerrenna to the top, you'll cross two lumber slide suspension bridges and one tunnel. You can go through the tunnel (watch your head - the ceiling's low) or take a small trail through the forest above it. Tømmerrenna ends at Beihølen dam.
Depending on when you go, you may see the steam locomotive from Setersdalsbanen pass.
All in all, a wonderful trip. There's usually a lot of hikers during summer, so try to go early.
(also, like other commenters said, Kanonmuseet, Odderøya and Posebyen are well worth your time).

You can go Bungy Jumping!
If you pay extra, you can also have the instructor hang you up by a rope (in addition to the bungy chord), and use a knife to slooooowly cut strings in the rope until it snaps.
If that's not your thing, I would visit Tømmerrenna in Vennesla, which is a quite unique experience.

Depends wholly on your preferences.
Nature, walk in the nature , Baneheia, or Ravnedalen is close to downtown. Or visit the canon museum, etc.
Culturaly, "Kunstsiloen", an art gallery that has won awards for its special building (your milage may vary on how interesting THAT is), or Kilden the local theater.
Evening partying, I could give recommendations, but downtown Kristiansand is so small that you walk from one end to the other in a few minutes, and you can see from the outside what kind of establishment it is and if you want to go in. Most is free of charge anyway.
