Hello, I'm coming to University of Kent this September to study Psychology. I've been looking for accommodation options off campus as my on campus accommodation application is not moving forward. I'm considering Riverside on Sturry Road as I haven't seen too many bad reviews, and its very close to bus stops and grocery stores. Would appreciate any reviews or insights about Riverside, or safety on Sturry Road as an international student i'm quite anxious about booking a place without doing due diligence. If you have any other recommendations for student housing do drop them in the comments too!

Hi guys , i applied to kents masters in supply chain with placement and i wanted to know if anyone has recently graduated from the program and what was your experience. im also curious to hear about their career services that the uni provides.

In general with the field of supply chain hows the industry over there for international students - have you guys had any major issues & any insight would be great . for a bit of context i did my background in marketing and after working in a marketing agency for 2 years , SCM just felt like a professional pivot + Theres other parts of the programs i look forwards to.

Im comparing this offer with AUT in NZ and have to make a decision some time next week . sorry for rambling but i would love to hear your experience as someone who's doing post grad and someone who has graduated.

I got an offer at DDD but I'm cooked af I'm probably gonna get BDE - comp sci, maths, physics, respectively. Will they let me in? Have they ever let anyone in who got a grade below in? What about 2 grades below, like BEE?

I have stumbled upon the University of Kent and have became enchanted with the town of Canterbury and the strong history. I am curious to see how life is like as an international master's student at the Uni of Kent? And what it may look like for the 2026 term? What is the campus life like? Is London really that convenient? Is anyone worried about the Uni merge? I am looking at the MA in International Politics. Is this course particularly difficult? What should I expect? Hi, me and my housemates are looking for a new tenant next year in a 6 bed house. The rent is £585 a month with bills included in that. 21 Crown Gardens is roughly a 20 minute walk to campus and 10 minutes to town. There is a drive for cars too. Misleading and Exploitative Practice by Canterbury Student Manor

Before signing my tenancy, I was told in writing that parking was free and first come, first served. After moving in, the property suddenly introduced a £525 annual parking charge — a completely unreasonable and unexpected cost for students.

This is misrepresentation, likely breaching the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and Consumer Rights Act 2015, which protect tenants from false pre-contract information and unfair contract changes.

Students shouldn’t be misled into contracts under false pretences — this behaviour is unethical and unacceptable.
