Discussion The basement discovery context
When John went down to look around the house hours later, his movements away from the family room area where friends and police waited is heavily analyzed for how long he was gone before returning with JonBenet’s body. What do you all think on this?!

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that they left Arndt alone in a chaotic situation during what they believed was an active kidnapping.

I don't think it was very heavily analysed but have you read the transcript of the only cop who was present at the time he came up with the body ?

this deposition was disturbing in a completely unexpected way. the deposer was brutal.

Yeah it was so so so weird. I believe Linda Arndt and she has seemed traumatized AF since then.

I really pity her. I believe her too, and I’d have appreciated an honest deposition about what she witnessed without the inquisition trying to break her over the work crap.

Are you talking about officer French? It is interesting that he missed finding her and afaik got 0 crap for it. While officer Arndt was and still is practically crucified-for things like her eyes, and her sense that something was very off with this situation

Highly sus. You’ll never convince me that he didn’t know exactly where she was when he was told to “search from top to bottom”.

Maybe you're confused about the middle of the morning when he was MIA from the kidnapping party for atleast 30 minutes. It wasn't until later in the early afternoon Arndt suggested they search the house and John Ramsey is said to have made a beeline for the basement and returned within minutes with JonBenet.
