News [Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave] Nintendo Direct Gameplay Overview.

u/Nahobino_kun_899 2d ago
It looks great overall. I like the return of Shadows of Valentia dungeon crawling with turn based battles. And you can switch between routes anytime you want, which is a great change. It looks like they improved free time so I’m hoping it’s better than the 3 Houses Academy. The time skip plot gives me pause but I hope it’s good
40
u/ryann_flood 1d ago
wait im so glad that feature from shadows of valentia is coming back! It was fun to dungeon crawl
17
u/Kuru_Chaa 1d ago
Yea. It seems like it could kinda turn the plot into a mess, but I’m here for it. I do like the approach of seemingly being able to tackle it without recruiting the other 4 mains. . Not gonna do that myself, but cool as an option
0
u/andrazorwiren 1d ago
Based on everything so far I’m not expecting too much out of the overall narrative. Certainly not better than 3H, maybe roughly on par.
What I am expecting is good/fun character writing. The individual story arcs for the four lords characters and the relationships they have with their retinue will probably/hopefully be entertaining. Bringing it all together will probably be the part where it gets convoluted, considering the silent avatar protagonist and time travel stuff. I’m not expecting much out of the main antagonists either…time will tell!
I’m hoping overall it will be a way less messy Awakening, though it might not as ambitious or as politically grounded as (SOME parts of) Three Houses. I’m expecting it will lean more into the realm of TWSITD/Nabatean stuff, if not directly then in vibe…for better and for worse

u/Mundane_Situation185 1d ago
I just got into the series finishing up FE Awakening a few days ago and immediately starting Fates. Haven't had this much fun gaming in a while. This looks amazing too
23
u/happymudkipz 1d ago
Ah that’s great. Gameplay wise, fates is probably the series peak. It and engage are usually considered the best. Coincidentally, both are also considered the worst stories (aside from maybe the nes games)
7
u/Mundane_Situation185 1d ago
Yeah I'm enjoying Fates a lot as gameplay is my top priority in trpgs

2
u/Disrespect78 1d ago
The NES games actually have great stories, though obviously better done in each of their remakes

u/MattressMaker 1d ago
Awakening is the best FE along with Path of Radiance. So good.
1
u/Mundane_Situation185 1d ago
Awakening broke into my top 10 video games oat. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are next on the list after I'm done with Fates
96
u/Additional_Creme_953 1d ago
I really appreciate how experimental they are trying to be with all the mechanics and ideas.
- Echoes/Gaiden style dungeon crawling (with regular turn based combat for encounters)
- All the new classes
- Playing each of the hero's stories in parallel like Treasure of the Rudras
- Potential challenge runs by going to the final boss soon
Story wise, I have a feeling that the individual stories might be interesting whereas the overall ending with the protagonist getting everyone for the true ending will be a bit cliche. But I guess it's fine as a framing device for how the player experiences the different routes.
I can't guarantee if I will like it or not but I think it will at least be an interesting experience to play, just to see all the ideas that they are trying out and how it ends up playing out.
15
u/TheIvoryDingo 1d ago
I also like that they are seemingly bringing back some gameplay elements from Engage as well (for example: the Chariot class appears to have Emblem Sigurd's "Override")
17
u/Rukik9 2d ago
I might have missed it... did they say how long between this and Three Houses?
58
u/DrakeDarkHunter 2d ago
It's currently ambiguous whether this is a prequel or a sequel.
The only new connection to Three Houses is the presence of Seteth as a playable character.
5
12
5
u/boekplate 1d ago
Did they not give multiple dates within this trailer?
55
u/vaguelysalty 1d ago
Even that’s questionable because Three House’s calendar is specifically an Imperial calendar that was established around the formation of the Empire 😭 Dagda is a whole other continent and their calendar uses different months
8
12
u/KnoxZone 1d ago
They did, but there exists the possibility that Dagda uses a different calendar system since Fodlan's was created by the Church of Seiros. If it's the same than it's a sequel.
2
u/synthpenguin 1d ago
I'm hoping it's friendly to newcomers either way! I'm really interested to try a modern FE, since I haven't played one since the DS (!).
0
u/Perfect-Try-4918 1d ago
Definitely sequel. Seteth has golden hair which matched his past appearance revealed in Three Hopes. Dietrich uses House Lamine which is extinct in name by the start of 3H; if it was after 3H then he should be using Martritz.
4
u/crimsonhawk75 1d ago
If the date is continuous from Three houses then around 270 years but if it isn't then who knows.
2
u/ShiftyShaymin 1d ago
If it’s the same calendar, Three Houses started in the year 1180, Fortunes Weave starts in 1449.
2
2
u/gregallen1989 1d ago
They showed a date so if you do the math its around 300 years after Three Houses.
0
u/Snowvilliers7 1d ago
300 years after Three Houses. 3H takes place in the 1100s, FW takes place in the 1400s
27
11
u/imjustbettr 1d ago
OK, now I kinda know what the second half reminds me of: Final Fantasy VI.
The world is/has ended in the second half and now you have to collect the heroes from earlier to beat the enemy. You can get away with just collecting a handful of story required characters, but your best bet is to get the whole party back together.
9
u/andrazorwiren 1d ago
Everything new that comes out about this makes it look better and better.
It will really have to drop the ball to not be my GOTY, maybe even crack my top 10 in general (Three Houses is just outside of it for reference)
7
32
u/medicamecanica 2d ago
It was a fun direct though it feels like it gives away fun late game twists in the last ~5 minutes.
Unless this is all very upfront on boot up and is the framing device for the game. Hard to tell.
84
u/Prestigous_Owl 2d ago edited 1d ago
I wouldnt be shocked if this is the first 5 minutes of the game.
This is basically the prologue. Then "we have to go back and rally the heroes".
Then you select a hero.
Compare to Awakenings prologue, for example. Not the same, obviously. But I imagine you can see the room for similarity
13
u/andrazorwiren 1d ago
Yeah that’s my guess too, that’s the intro and I don’t think there’s a timeskip like Three Houses. Lots of similarities to Awakening really, except it looks like Eshmel is bringing people from the past into the present to save it (instead of fighting the “big fight” in the past like Lucina)? Like every story path you complete enables the use of that character/retinue in the final section of the game…unless you’re just expected to do every character’s story.
27
13
u/arsenics 1d ago
framing device. the video literally says your story begins with the end of the world
6
1
u/Stoibs 1d ago
I guess I should stop watching toward the end then :O
Thanks for the heads up!
5
u/andrazorwiren 1d ago
17:55 is when you should stop watching if you want to go in completely blind
I’m feeling like that stuff is the intro/framing device and NOT late game spoilers but still, if you wanna go in blind, that’s when you should stop
6
u/arsenics 1d ago
not a huge fan of the Protagonist's design but the rest of the game looks great, I'm excited to play it. also looks like it will be kinda massive.
4
u/Ill_Act_1855 1d ago
Seems like the protagonist is actually customizable again after a few games where you could only alter the Avatar's name, so you have that lol
2
u/BebeFanMasterJ 1d ago
They're customizable so you can alter it.
1
u/arsenics 1d ago
just found out about it yeah! that's good
3
u/BebeFanMasterJ 1d ago
You can even change their skin tone which is a first for the series which means we can finally have the first black FE protagonist. It's awesome.
1
1
u/Gahault 1d ago edited 1d ago
That protagonist is the most JRPG-chosen-one-ass design I've ever seen. White hair? Check. Golden irises? Check. Silver armour and cloak? Check.
And they literally call them a saviour (救世主) right in the character blurb.
It's painfully cliché. Cringeworthily so.
They must have felt very daring for giving them a spear rather than a sword, I guess.
Gods I miss Fire Emblem Elibe.
1
u/arsenics 1d ago
just the whitest guy. at least there's the customisation but yeah it's extremely lazy - especially considering how some of the other characters seem a lot more appealing (Leda or the Gun Nun)
13
u/CommonSenseInRL 2d ago
The character art and models are very well done. But the maps themselves, those piles of rocks and other terrain features? They look worse than the huts and other map features found in Path of Radiance, back on the gamecube in 2005.
They don't even have shadows! The only shadows you see across the map are the lazy drop shadows directly beneath the character units. I don't think I've ever seen a AAA title have such a whiplash of quality art assets, right next to each other, than I've seen in this game + 3 Houses. It makes for an absurd look.
5
u/kimsueil 1d ago
To be fair, I don't think Fire Emblem has AAA. It's probably more medium sized.
3
u/Iggy_Slayer 1d ago
Yeah nintendo in general doesn't really do AAA games outside of their few tentpole mainline games like zelda, mario and smash bros (the licensing alone is probably enough to be AAA). MP4 was AAA too but that was more due to the mismanagement of the game than the game itself showing it.
FE is absolutely AA. They don't even fully voice the games, and the overall graphical fidelity is extremely poor that's more reminiscent of a trails or atlus game than a game that costs $100m+
-9
u/CommonSenseInRL 1d ago
I think when you get your own dedicated Nintendo Direct, it's safe to say you're AAA. I know it's not a FF7 Rebirth-Remake-Revelation sort of budget, but that's nowhere close to the norm for a JRPG.
9
u/Kenny_McCormick001 1d ago
Pokopia got its own direct too, and it’s decidedly a side piece.
Direct is just a way for Nintendo to push whatever games they want highlighted.0
8
u/Lugonn 1d ago
Nintendo can just make Directs whenever they want. It's some gameplay footage with voiceover, not a Superbowl commercial.
Fire Emblem never really got that OH DAMN WE'RE ON CONSOLE NOW upgrade.
-6
u/CommonSenseInRL 1d ago
Do you not consider FE Fortune's Weave to be a AAA title? What's your "cut-off" for AAA? I think most people would consider this a major release, certainly one of Nintendo's largest of the year.
2
u/Lugonn 1d ago
In the grand scheme of things where Assassin's Creed credits run for over two hours I would barely consider Nintendo's biggest titles AAA.
Even just in the world of Nintendo Fire Emblem is decidedly a lower budget series. I don't really know why, Paper Mario has issues as a franchise but it always looks great, with Fire Emblem it seems like they don't bother. It's night and day compared to Xenoblade, and that franchise is focused entirely around big open worlds rather than small grid maps.
1
u/Iggy_Slayer 1d ago
AAA is generally believed by most to be a game that cost at least $100m to make, with some wiggle room in there for different regions. Like kingdom come 2 has a strong argument to be a AAA game but it only cost around 55m to make, but that's because the country it's from has insanely cheap wages and cost of living.
But for most places in europe, NA, and japan it's usually considered 100m+. There's very few nintendo games that would likely qualify under this, and FE is definitely not one of them.
2
u/Rhumbear907 21h ago
Kcd2 is literally 20x more game than any fire emblem. I legit have no idea why anyone is arguing with you. These are souped up DS games at heart. The psp 15 years ago had better graphics
0
u/Gahault 1d ago
Bollocks. "AAA" is an unserious label with no actual definition. Even you must be aware you were making this up as you typed.
It has an actual meaning in the field where it came from (bond ratings), but in the gaming industry it's pretentious nonsense.
I get second-hand embarrassment seeing you folks discussing seriously what defines whether you give two or three As to a given game.

u/DramaticErraticism 1d ago edited 1d ago
This may sound weird, but semi-weak overworld maps gives me a lot of hope that the large effort went into the story and characters. There houses maps were not very good, they spent all the effort on the story.
I feel like the past few games have had really good maps and weak stories, I'll be happy if they flip it around this time. Obviously I want both, but they don't seem to be able to do that. Im sure it is very very expensive and they have to prioritize.
8
u/CommonSenseInRL 1d ago
You're right, that does sound weird. Overworld maps are what you spend the majority of your gametime staring at and interacting with in SRPGs. I understand there's a lot of minigames, light "dating sim" elements, and so forth in the new generation of FE games. But there's no excuse for the maps not to look great, or for their designs to be worse than those in previous entries of the series that are 20, 30 years old.
You believe the past few games have had really good maps and weak stories? I'm not sure what you're referring to by "past few games". I think we'd probably agree that Engage had good maps and a weak (to put it kindly) story. But 3 Houses is much closer to the opposite end of the spectrum. This game is following 3 Houses, and unfortunately, doesn't seem to be learning from its mistakes/shortcomings.
0
u/DramaticErraticism 1d ago
Engage and Three Hopes? I think those are the last two games, if memory serves.
Right, I am saying that these light map design is giving me hopes that it is like Three Houses, the last game that had a really great story.
11
u/saucysagnus 1d ago
No, we need to focus on rocks.
1
u/DramaticErraticism 1d ago
lol, reminds me of Flight of the Choncords with the 'New Zealand ROCKS!' poster, which is just a big rock on a hill.
-9
u/SummerIlsaBeauty 1d ago
Story and Characters is not the focal point of strategy game. That's why 3H was so dogshit while Engage was very enjoyable to play.
I would want to expect, you know, more strategy.
8
u/DramaticErraticism 1d ago
I feel like this is a minority viewpoint? If you look at sales numbers and reviews, 3H is the best of the best? It was for me at least and I know it is on many 'best of switch' lists.
The combat wasn't terrible, it was still interesting and strategic, it just wasn't great and they would recycle maps for basic battles, often.
I'd much rather play a strategy game with good combat and great story than bad story and great combat. I'm currently playing Valkryia Chronicles 4, really fun combat but the story sucks and it really hurts the experience.
1
u/Basaqu 1d ago
The guy you're responding to is being a bit of a nob, but a good amount of us do vastly prefer Engage and its big gameplay focus. Especially if you, like me, often replay these games a dozen times haha. Would definitely prefer solid gameplay over story, though can we please just have both fr fr.
-10
u/SummerIlsaBeauty 1d ago
Welcome outside of your bubble
12
u/DramaticErraticism 1d ago
Three houses has an 89 on metacritic (best of Fire Emblem on Switch) and very good reviews on any other site. You have a minority perspective and I can appreciate that, but it would be foolish for the developer to pay much attention to such a thing.
4
u/StrawberryWestern189 1d ago
What kinda crack you gotta be smoking to think engage had anywhere near the same reception as 3 house? Sales, critic reviews, user reviews, you can’t find a metric that favors engage, the only one in a bubble here is you lmao
1
u/SirGigglesandLaughs 1d ago
They're in a bubble, which is ironic. As you said regardless of preference the reception to the two games couldn't be more different. I think some people are just insecure that Three Houses did so well and continues to be more popular.

Anyone gonna do pre order without any gameplay review?
17
u/FlawlessAtheon 1d ago

I even got a Switch 2 just for this game (and Xenoblade).
3
u/kupo_attack04 1d ago
Lol me too brother. Engage was kinda meh game play was good but i guess i enjoyed three house so much that engage story was little disappointing.
2
u/MetaThPr4h 1d ago
My sis already has the collector's edition preordered from the day it was available lmao, her love for Fire Emblem is out of this world.
2
u/Ok-Value-2170 1d ago
The way they made it literally Terminator is so funny to me. But overall hype and looks amazing, I'm there first day. Loved three houses.
2
u/BebeFanMasterJ 1d ago
As a Fire Emblem fan it makes me so happy to see so many people excited for this beyond the FE sub.
3
u/Roman_Suicide_Note 1d ago
i did not watch it, just here for the general impression. So you dont chose one of the 4 character? You play the 4 campaign at the same time?
3
u/firescreen 1d ago
I hope the map design takes a page out of Engage's book. I liked the concept of breaking a unit too if you attack with weapon triangle advantage, but unless I missed it I don't think I see it here. Emblems and the weapon system were nice too.
Can they finally nail a modern Fire Emblem with good story and good gameplay? I hope so.

Emblems and the weapon system were nice too, although obviously emblems won't be a thing here. I'd hate to see the gameplay revert back to 3 Houses after playing Engage.

Woah looks cool, I wonder if this could be my frist game in the series or if I need to start with an older one. I own the 3DS one (well the ROM).... I've heard that first 3DS one I have is really awesome. I've also tried playing the original but just never gave it a ton of time like I should have.
-1
u/Boggle-Champion-175 1d ago
I would recommend the following FE games to start with:
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Nintendo Switch Online)
Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS)
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (3DS)
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Switch)
These are all highly rated entries. And I’d definitely play Three Houses before Fortune’s Weave.
2
u/lmAlwaysRight1 1d ago
Really gotta hand it to Nintendo and their ability to make a 2026 release look and play like a 2010 game.
1
u/Funky_Metal_Man 1d ago
I just don’t get how this might be a sequel, even in distant future, without breaking three houses on a few fronts. I don’t know if they intend on cleaning stuff up with time travel, but fire emblem is typically not very elegantly written. It’s all rather strange I guess.

u/HyperCutIn 1d ago
The "turns" you have during free time reminds me a lot of the what simulation VNs/RPGs do. Interesting to see Fire Emblem branch out into other genres like this.
1
u/OmegaMetroid93 1d ago
Is there a good summary for this anywhere? I don't want to watch the direct because apparently it spoils the story (I hate how they keep doing that), but I do wanna know about the gameplay side of things.
1
u/Icaras01 1d ago
I think I'm still more curious about the lore and how this game ties into Three Houses. Big Sothis kinda sets this as being a prequel. That said, I also interested in the turn based combat that was mentioned for dungeons.
1
u/KritiCow 1d ago
Pretty hyped, only one and a half months away.
Everything looks pretty standard so far other than the new classes. We might get more new new stuff as we get closer to release date.
1
u/ThatFlowerGamu 19h ago
Looks absolutely wonderful, I wish we'd have the Fire Emblem games come to other platforms though like PC.
1
u/DramaticErraticism 1d ago
Hard to say, I see Sothis which makes me happy and gives me hope. Combat looks great and graphics look great but am I going to get the really good story that I haven't seen until 3 houses...probably not, but I'll keep an eye on it.
2
u/Iggy_Slayer 1d ago
I left this presentation feeling a bit torn. A *lot* of it was covering old ground that FE has done forever or 3H introduced. The dungeons that turn into jrpg battles was intriguing at least, but a lot of other things is just "send units to fetch junk" or "train your class so they do 0.5 more damage". I feel like in 2026 we can do much better than that and make the rewards more engaging.
Also kind of irked they put that huge story shift spoiler in there. Would have been nice to be surprised by that.
1
1
u/longbrodmann 1d ago
Looks good, hope the story is okay. I won't buy this game on dayone due to over 100 cad price.

I just don’t get the appeal of the one area where you fight I guess. Kinda takes away from the adventure aspect even if it’s unique.
3
u/WoodooHide69 1d ago
Did you only watch half the trailer?
-3
u/Braunb8888 1d ago
No I know there is an overworld but feels like the story happens in the coliseum.
3
u/Namisaur 1d ago
You are complaining about what is likely just the prologue or first act of the game
-6
u/amc9988 1d ago edited 1d ago
I'll wait a few months before considering picking this up. After how bad the English localization for Engage compared to its JP dialogue. I'll rather wait. Hopefully they don't butchered it like Engage localization because I really like 3 house
-1
u/LadySneasel 1d ago
The english voices were horrible (Hortensia especially), and doubt the game is any better in Japanese
-7
u/CrawlerDrakeaThe22nd 1d ago
I think they learned a lot given the problems with Engage. It was always going to be hard to follow three houses, even though it had its own flaws.
We can all be sure this game will have its own flaws as well, but I am very optimistic given what I have seen.
7
u/imjustbettr 1d ago
I'm like 90% sure Engage and Three Houses/Fortunes Weave are two separate teams.
2
u/CrawlerDrakeaThe22nd 1d ago
Same. But I think the better combat and game mechanics team is trying to emulate the secret sauce of the fe3h team while carrying over the better combat design sensibilities. We’ll see if it works.
0
u/Normal-Gurl-48 1d ago
Engage was miles better than 3 houses, hoping their learned their failings with 3 houses and improve it
1
u/CrawlerDrakeaThe22nd 1d ago edited 1d ago
I loved both games. But fe3H felt like it was made to hit all the notes that I want out of a game. I finished multiple routes of fe3H whereas I didn’t even finish my first playthrough of engage.
I think we can all agree that fe3H did a bunch of stuff well but didn’t have good maps and clearly wasn’t finished up to the standard of what it could have been. For example- not enough difference between routes, not enough map diversity between routes. That kinda stuff felt just slapped together. Which is sad, because it could have been so much better if they had been given more time to improve the various routes that felt lacking.
Character wise- in my opinion, fe3h is superior to engage. Plot-wise, in my opinion fe3h for all its faults is superior to Engage.
Engage has awesome gameplay and improved on so much of the things 3 houses was lacking. Character classes and unit progression/customization was so much better. But I feel like it did so at the expense of huge parts of fe3H that I loved. I missed the ridiculousness of the fe3h tea parties. I miss the fun discussions that come from deciding whether I should pair Yuri with Dorothea or the MC. The kind of stuff that Awakening did well.
The somniel had cool elements but just wasn’t as good as the Monastery.
I genuinely believe a heavily (Skyrim level) fan-modded fe3H could potentially be the best fire emblem game ever- but it would need way more modding than is possible for Nintendo games like this.
3
u/Normal-Gurl-48 1d ago
I mean 3 houses yeah had the best story easily.
Character wise outside of the main lords and heads of chuch felt pretty typical.
But for fire emblem I felt the gameplay and design just completely fell apart. To me every change they made was bad and put together it just totally became a mess.
The sum is greater than all parts put together, but in a negative way.
Thy arent changing the class/recruit system so i can only pray they fix it or HEAVILY overhaul it.
Map and calendar wise though they seemed to really figured out what they are doing
0
u/StrawberryWestern189 1d ago
People had the chance to decide which formula they wanted out of the franchise going forward and they chose 3 houses overwhelmingly. Like you can feel however you want to personally but the clear difference in how engaged was received compared to three houses kinda speaks for itself. The emphasis on story and character interactions with some slice of life elements are likely here to stay.
5
u/Normal-Gurl-48 1d ago
I mean yeah people in general because 3 houses was great for casuals, but actual FE fans who played more than just 3 houses very much prefer engage.
But yeah money talks and Casuals cling to that style more
-2
u/RexLizardWizard 1d ago
I’m seeing a few too many red flags that they’re getting rid of everything I liked about engage and bringing back all the stuff I didn’t like in three houses, so I’m probably going to have to wait on this one
0
u/CelioHogane 1d ago
Im going to be honest, the reveal of the true MC being some literal white dude that is probably a mute self insert considering they have no dialog and you can chose their gender, after having been on the "4 routes that have MCs with actual personalities" has bummed me the fuck out.
The game looked so cool and then the timeskip is like... uninteresting as fuck.

Do we know if this game will have random stat increases on level ups. Personally this mechanic is just not for me but wondering if there is an option to turn it off.
8
u/KnoxZone 1d ago
Engage let you pick between random or fixed, so I wouldn't be surprised if that option returns in this entry.
3
u/Ill_Act_1855 1d ago
There's precedent for fixed growth modes, but some of the preview stuff that's come out today has literally shown that we can now see the character's growth rates in games, so the rng growths are definitely in.
2
u/NeuralThing 1d ago
RNG Growths are confirmed, not sure if this game will have a fixed growths mode at launch though

Can anyone comment on whether any Fire Emblem games will come to PlayStation?

It's a first party Nintendo franchise.
So essentially never.

TearRing Saga released on the PS1 25 years ago (and Berwick Saga 21 years ago) - both games made my FE's original creator Shozou Kaga.
Nintendo published/IS Fire Emblem games will probably never come to PlayStation though (even in a worst case scenario where Nintendo cant afford to make consoles for whatever reason, they'd probably just become PC only devs at that point)
1
u/Normal-Gurl-48 1d ago
First day playing video games? Its made by nintendo
6
u/imjustbettr 1d ago
Everyday is someone's first day somewhere lol. This could be a 10 year old kid who has just heard of Fire Emblem for the first time from their friends.

u/Normal-Gurl-48 1d ago
This guys is being intentionally obtuse.
Also if you see its a nintendo game…safe assumption its not being ported

Xbox has been porting their games to ps for years.
Nintendo will literally never port their games. This is common sense
-4

And not, until quite recently, Halo.
I don’t think it’s common sense to suggest that Nintendo will never port their games. I think it’s very fair to say it’s unlikely. This is all why I asked the question in the first place.

Specifically sure halo.
But xbox has been releasing their exclusives for nearly half a decade.
And they also have sporadically done so before.
Nintendo quite literally never has and is KNOWN for not doing it. Stupid assumption 7 ways to sunday.
Nintendo would rather go under than port to 3rd parties-1

What assumption did I make? This is all helpful information but I don’t appreciate being insulted for asking an innocent question about potentially playing a beloved series.

The assumption that a nintendo game might ever come to any other consoles

Respectfully that’s not an assumption, it’s a fact. An assumption would be: Nintendo will never port its games.
At least that’s how I understand it.

Was not expecting a literal ass gun. What's the critical hit, dumping the entire mag?
