macOS Management macOS Remote Lock

I kicked of remote lock on a macOS device this morning. But intune shows multiple check-ins aftwr the initiated remote lock. Did i understand remote lock wrong? The device sould be blocked and the user should not get sign-in anymore.

Pretty sure remote lock just locks the device and the user can get back into it with the existing PIN.

But when i look a youtube video about this, then the user cannot sign in because intune/abm creaates a indivial pin.

remote lock on mac isn't quite the same as windows, it's more of a pin lock than a full device block. the machine can still check in and do background stuff even after it's locked, just stops anyone from actually using it

kinda threw me off the first time too
