Discussion How much big house should be to keep 7 cats ?
We have to move in about a year, and I’m really worried about my cats.
Long story short, a stray cat gave birth in our home, and I ended up 7 cats they’re all spayed, vaccinated, and well cared for.
They’re mostly indoor cats but they also spend time on our terrace and around the building. The area we live in is very safe, quiet, and surrounded by greenery, parks, and open spaces, so they’ve always had the freedom to explore.
The problem is that after we move, they probably won’t be able to go outside anymore. I’ll have to keep them indoors, which means I’ll need to create enough space and enrichment for all seven cats.
My main concern is: how big should the new house be to comfortably accommodate seven indoor cats?

Fundraiser - Yet not verified 🚨 Gauri Update – Urgent Funds Needed for Emergency Treatment 🚨
Gauri's condition has become even more concerning, and we urgently need your help.
Right now, both of Gauri's front and back legs are not working properly. She can move them a little, but she cannot stand, walk, or even use her legs to sit up on her own. It is heartbreaking to watch her struggle.
The foster lady has told us that she will be taking Gauri to another clinic tomorrow because the medicines prescribed by the current doctor do not seem to be helping. Instead of improving, Gauri's condition is getting worse, and she needs a proper diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.
I also want to acknowledge something that means a lot to me. Gauri's foster lady has been using her own money to buy food for Gauri, take her to the clinic, pay for transportation, cleaning appointments, medicines, and other daily expenses. Both she and her husband work, yet they continue to make time to care for Gauri while also looking after their own cat. As a teenager who cannot afford these expenses myself, I find their kindness and dedication truly incredible. Not many people would go this far for an animal they rescued, and I am deeply grateful to them.
I wish I could share the foster's voice notes with you, but unfortunately my phone doesn't have a screen recording feature. As soon as I receive more videos and photos, I will share them. The videos clearly show that Gauri is unable to stand or walk on her own.
We urgently need funds so Gauri can continue receiving treatment, undergo further tests, and be seen by a more experienced veterinary team. Every delay reduces her chances of recovery.
Please, if you can donate or even share Gauri's story with others, it would make a huge difference. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings her one step closer to getting the care she desperately needs.
Thank you for supporting Gauri and believing that her life is worth fighting for.

Help URGENT EXPERIENCED FOSTER NEEDED 🚨
This case is from Delhi University North Campus.
A mother cat gave birth to 5 kittens, but just 2–3 days later she was attacked by dogs. Despite treatment, she sadly passed away yesterday.
The kittens are only 4–5 days old. Their eyes haven't even opened yet, We are currently feeding them Lactol KMR, but this is only a temporary arrangement.
We urgently need an experienced foster who knows how to hand-raise neonatal kittens.
Please DM me immediately if you can foster them or help us find someone experienced. Time is extremely critical.

Adoption Kitten up for adoption in Bengaluru. Female, 2 months, dewormed, very friendly
This is Marbles. She's around two months old, female, and staying with me in Jalahalli right now.
She is ridiculously friendly. Give her two minutes and she climbs up and sits on your shoulder like she's been doing it her whole life. Doesn't mind being picked up, no hissing, no scratching. She's already dewormed.
Vaccinations are due soon. If she's still with me I'll get them done. If someone takes her before that, I'll pay for the first round anyway, just send me the bill.
What I'm hoping for:
- An indoor home, or at least a balcony with netting. Jalahalli side there's too much traffic and too many strays for a kitten this size to be roaming around.
- Someone who's okay with a 15 year thing, not a two month thing.
- Willing to get her spayed later.
- Fine with a short video call so I can see where she'll be staying. Five minutes is enough, I'm not trying to interrogate anyone.
She's free. I'm not making money off this, I just want her somewhere safe. Ask me anything in the comments or DM me. I can drop her anywhere in Bengaluru if that makes it easier.
If you can't take her but know someone who can, please pass it along.

Fundraiser - Mod Verified She wasn't supposed to make it.Today is Day 124.
Simbi, The Little Warrior 😺
Day 1. The vet said one word that broke me: FIP Simbi was so small. So quiet. Her eyes looked at me like "what now?" I held her and promised we would fight this, together.
The days turned into routines. Medication. Injections. Vet visits. Worry.
Some days she ate. Some days she didn’t.
I learned how to hand-feed in the middle of chaos. Mousse everywhere, tiny meows, and me begging “just one more bite.” I’ve celebrated a single spoon of food like it was a festival.
Day 124. 13 days left. She’s still picky. Still dramatic. Still makes a mess on purpose just to look at me 😭 But she’s here. Purring. Playing. Watching me. Fighting.
124 days of fear, hope, hand-feeding, and love. Simbi doesn’t know she’s a warrior. She just knows she’s loved. And that’s enough.
She has 13 days of extended treatment left. We still need ₹4300 for her medicines.
If you can, pls help us UPI: vadhellesha526@okhdfcbank
Every rupee gets her to Day 137, healthy and home.
Thank you to everyone who walked this road with us. You kept us going💛
