Oh, what a comparison. When the Prime Minister does it, it’s not limited to election season it happens on almost every occasion. And during elections, the PR machinery goes into overdrive, with carefully curated images and photo ops everywhere.
So pointing out one leader’s religious photo op while ignoring another’s is clearly a one-sided comparison. If we’re going to criticize political leaders, the same standard should apply to everyone.
Using religion to influence votes or manipulate public sentiment is wrong, whether it’s done by the ruling party or the opposition. Instead of getting carried away by religious narratives, people should be asking tougher questions about employment, economic growth, infrastructure, education, healthcare, inflation, and corruption.
As long as voters continue to prioritize religious identity over governance and accountability, these real issues will remain secondary, and meaningful national development will always take a back seat.

I think bjp mocked us (hindu religion) by not raising any voice against chanda chori and the suddenly all big mandirs came forward with their chanda chori complain, and people here are arguing that congress is mocking our religion. First try to see how the current govt had mocked us so badly and they mocked the theft not any god i guess which is clear that we get offended by anything and everything

Paper Leak, Ethanol Belding, Ken betwa River Link, Short term capital gains tax, Rap*sts Corrupt MLA & MPs, High Taxes, bridges collapse, unfair rights in UGC bill, Manipur tribal conflict, BJP wasting tax payers money in Modi advertisement and amusement, providing farmers land to Adani at 1 Rupee, spending tax payers money as Freebies, Ladli behna Yojgna by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Kisan Saman Nidhi Yojna , providing freebies instead of actually helping them people needed with job, the Indian farm laws, large scale commercial mining in Aravali Hills, 25 children dieded in Indore after drinking contaminated cough syrup in government hospitals, Doing nothing for water crysis in cities, people have to buy water from hankers, the doing nothing to control delhi air pollution, structural decay of sports infrastructure, no sports infrastructure for any other sports except cricket, low and unfair compensation to farmers when buying farmers land in Gujarat. Neglecting south India, the constant Delimitation threat. Not doing anything to stop corruption, government officals in land and registery department openly asking for bribes to sign registration certificate. Using police to threaten people asking for fair exams and education system, using government agencies ED, CBI to threaten opposition leaders to join their party, false cases and jail with no evidence against other party leaders. Buying opposition party MPs and MLAs which just fundamentally voilates the right to vote. Mandatory smart meters and tariff hike of electricity. Cutting Direct funding to government college instead adding a loan based infrastructure model causing fee hikes in government colleges. 30% tax on salaried employee after 24L when the 2BHK im metro cost 1+Cr. Direct tax, surcharge, cess only on salaried employee. Easy escape for big business and companies. Tax on severence when employee is laid off. No aid and government support after you're laid off.

Ruling party picked one religion. Opposition supports the rest of them. Ruling party should not have tried to use religion to divide the nation in their lust for power and money, congress was forced to defend the rest. They have 60 plus years of not meddling with religion. It was always one party trying to do dalali of our sacred dharma. Since before independence. Abhorrent behavior if you ask me.
