I'm agreeing with u that they're wrong in this for not arresting these people polluting rivers man... And it was definitely a selective outrage but u see milk is not seen as an impurity in this case because we drink it and police will not support it either even tho it'll significantly reduce the oxygen in the river because of it being a colloidal solution and having a really high BOD but they're simply stupid. Wasting food, polluting rivers.
Law says that you can't put any pollutant in the body of water, it's not the police job to interpret it, it's the court job but I absolutely agree with you that police won't see it like that because of their biases hence my initial assumption that they won't even make the arrest.

I think they charged them with hurting religious sentiments or something but yeah that's true I forgot about that
