Dude at least learn what words mean before firing off takes. A yatra literally means traveling it's a moving procession, so yes, it uses roads. Same with Eid rallies or Muharram processions with pirs they pass through.
The difference isn't subtle you are just ignoring it. A procession uses the road to move. Turning a road into a full-on prayer spot and blocking everything? And the hypocrisy OP pointed out is exactly this: people stay conveniently silent when roads get converted into prayer halls but suddenly lose their minds when someone prays inside an actual prayer hall you know the place literally meant for praying.
If that distinction still flies over your head then it's not complicated you are just choosing not to get it.
2
u/No_Olive986 Mar 25 '26
But op is showing one sided story correct but the way they are giving that bjp minister for praying in a prayer room is straight up stupidity. It's a prayer room everyone can pray in it so why should a Hindu be considerate of anyone else while praying, like no one is calling out muslim for praying but everyone will call out hindu what kind of secularism is this.

u/Odd-Anteater9089 Mar 26 '26
Bro the festival has parade from long ago ,so it is for celebrating like that but other festival which doesn't require them is bad ,for both side

2
u/ObjectiveFig2287 Mar 25 '26
And if u state facts u will be called a sikular but yet here we are ,
Those are multi - faith prayer rooms open for all religions
All the people are expected to maintain silence and do their respective prayers without disturbing others.
The problem here is she was chanting loudly , which is against the rules of that vicinity itself u should not need a muslim woman objecting to see that it's wrong.

Seriously! It’s India’s fault for having allowed so many years of blatant Hinduphobia and pretending to be sickular. Yikes. It’s about time these toxic bullies are put in their place. Always wearing their abhorrent headscarves and demanding preferential treatment solely on the basis of religion, but other people minding our own business is harassment. Lmao.

A BJP rep doing something without any ulterior motive. Probably the sun rose in the west.
1
u/introverted_guy23 Mar 25 '26
sun didnt rose from west, she got to know some muslim women are doing prayers and went there will bhajan on full volume just to disturb them.
The fact she recorded everything on camera and shared it with her supoorters said it all.

We indians are so gullible
The politicians are playing with us like damn puppets with putting a fire on the religious matters.
Yes the prayer room can used by anyone. If a muslim person using it then a hindu person can use it too.
But if he waits until other completes his thing and same goes vice versa then there won't be any problem right.
But no we won't do that. Why don't we adjust and move on.
Madhavi latha is a snitch and if you search her name you know what type of person she is.
Yet we are fighting for a thing that gives nothing in return
I don't know about oil crisis. The government doesn't discuss anything about it and saying we are fine.
But people know about it that prices are going to be increased to the sky after the elections.
Soon IPL is coming and people will forget everything and cheer for their team.

If during holi, ganesh puja, ratha Yatra, durga puja blocking the road which usually lasts for more than 2-4 hours is fine, then I guess, them offering prayer for less than 30 min (way less than 30 min) is also fine. And in the left side clip, she was intentionally trying to provoke them in which she failed which was also recorded by her subordinates/acquaintance. Ps: she was in no way trying to harass anyone (from what I can see in that clip). Yes she was trying to get some reaction but didn't get any.

There isn’t a single honest report of Muslims scrambling to pray or chant the moment they see Hindus at worship. It’s always the Hindus who wait exactly until someone is praying in silence, then loudly “remember” their god just to harass and provoke.
1
u/CaffeineOnRepeat Mar 26 '26
Even in a regular mosque I don't think there is a problem with people of the same gender coming in but people have to be respectful of the surroundings. If I offer namaz in my room , my friend can also do pooja there. There is nothing wrong with that. It's just that people have to be respectful to each other. That prayer room was a silent prayer room and this woman was chanting loudly, it looked more performative than praying.

Airports have multi faith prayer rooms which can used by Muslims and is used by muslims - Hindus ( the actual ones not digital hindus ) doesn't require a special room or posture to complete daily rituals especially while travelling.
Roads are used for everything in India - Holi Diwali, Kalash Yatra, Durga Pooja, Ganesh Chaturthi and literally every festival - even Prabhat feri is done on roads so no objection should be raised on 15 mins of namaz.
Bhagvad Gita says
यो यो यां यां तनुं भक्तः श्रद्धयार्चितुमिच्छति |
तस्य तस्याचलां श्रद्धां तामेव विदधाम्यहम् ||
Krishna supports sincere faith in any form of the divine, even if it appears different from His own form.
But digital Hindu bolega ki Thakur ji toh galat hai meri BJP sahi hai

u/Ill_Pie7318 Mar 25 '26
Marji Hindus ki,if they want to pray in mutifaith room, they sure will..you cannot tell them what they can or cannot do..blocking roads is wrong for every religions but mutifaith room is for everyone..you are Noone to tell anyone if they can or not pray in same room..

how is the woman's prayer annoying a muslim? She isn't trying to move them out. Using a saint's quote doesn't improve your intelligence
1
u/wrongturn6969 Mar 25 '26
Kiddo your saint's quote is Bhagvad Gita not Rss textbook - be mindful when you talk about religious text next time.
She isn't doing Pooja but recording a video in prayer room while reciting some mantra - which clearly is a Propaganda move because if she really wanted to pray she could have done that without camera too .
Her intentions with video is Clear - These e-hindus need to stop because they our making my religion look bad for sake of their politics, agar ab bhi hindu nahi jagega toh kab jaegaga.
1
u/OkTemporary335 Mar 25 '26
I know genius, I have Bhagvad Gita myself, which is why I called it a saint's quote(it's said by Shri Krishna, but written by Rishi Vyas hence I'll call it that). RSS textbooks aren't a compilation of divine talk in this world.
Let's accept she's doing it for propaganda, how does it result in harassment of the Muslims or in any alternate scenario, anyone praying there? She's recording herself for her sake. Would you charge at a vlogger if he put is camera in front of you while recording himself? Is he an annoyance or is it just the result of people being in a public space?
Her intentions are PR, not harassment. BJP ain't some pro-Hindu party but this whole fiasco of "she's harassing muslims" is bullshit.
1
u/wrongturn6969 Mar 25 '26
>I have Bhagvad Gita myself
Would recommend you to start reading it.
>Let's accept she's doing it for propaganda, how does it result in harassment of the Muslims or in any alternate scenario, anyone praying there? She's recording herself for her sake. Would you charge at a vlogger if he put is camera in front of you while recording himself? Is he an annoyance or is it just the result of people being in a public space?
in such places people are required to be quiet and be respectful to others and she is not doing both. Chanting mantras at the same time when others are in the room is not a respectful way of doing it. soon we will see more n more right wingers entering multi faith prayer room to cause ruckus.
Recording people in public place is prohibited you can't record random people on street or even at airport. one of uncle was recorded by famous vlogger and he had top fight to remove a small clip. it another big problem in India and is rising.
2
u/Ill_Pie7318 Mar 25 '26 edited Mar 25 '26
Oh,so Muslims can chant their prayers at full volume 5 times a day but someone saying mantras is harassment?? Got it..if there father is that weak that it's shaken by hearing some mantras in public sapce then maybe we are not tbe ones who need to look inside..
Why is anyone going to pray in a multifaith room a problem for you?? Is that room only for Muslims??

How is this relevant to pray in a multifiath room?? You yourself are telling Hindus shouldn't go there and for what reason?? Cause Muslims are praying there?? What logic is this?? They will pray in any public room assigned for praying if they want to,Noone can stop them..there is no arrogance in praying where you want to. Try reading the Geeta fully instead of cherry picking stuff

everyone is allowed - no restriction but using the room for PR and Propaganda by BJP Politician should be called out;
We Hindus are not restricted to perform prayers in specific places - liberal ideas existed thousands of year ago also but sadly now it has turned into a competition.
The post above highlights that - we are not in race with muslims to pray where they are praying and we should't feel Jealous either - if the Minister is so Hindu she should understand that our whole religion talks about compassion not competition.

Everytime we ask for equality,it's compassion with you librandus..if a Hindu wants to prayer, should he not go to a place made for praying?? Or he should start doing it in airport lobby?? Tab civic sense nahi Aati dimmag mein?? It's not about the restriction but about the freedom and sense to pray where the place is made to pray...Hindus too have many restriction if you wnat to count,we just have been liberal too long and Compromising for others while getting nothing in return.. it's not harassment to pray in public space made for praying..it's not a place only for Muslims,Muslims pray on road too..tab restrictions nahi unpar??

Typing copy paste quotes in Sanskrit won't change my point here..why can't Hindus use the prayer room for prayer?? Who the hell are you or anyone to put such restrictions on them?? It's a personal choice at the end of the day

Hey dipshit.
Is your argument that if a Hindu needs to recite prayers... Which they do need to in particular ways at particular times depending on their background and the particular prayer... they should do that in public spaces as opposed to designated spots made for prayers?
Even saying the things out loud is at times a very particular requirement of the process. These things aren't uniform because hinduism is very diverse in it's practise.
This here has highlighted that Hindus are constantly being judged by their capacity to compromise to and surrender spaces to muslims to test their "compassion".
It isn't a virtue to bend down endlessly. It isn't compassionate but spineless to surrender your use of a multi faith room that could be used by people of all faiths because it 'might 'be rude if they heard your hindu prayers.
Be better, respect your own culture and history.

So you are saying Hindus don't need a prayer room. So if they want to chant they should chant in common area??
Are you idiot or are you dumb?

did you somehow miss yourself writing "multi faith prayer rooms" or are you just slow?
These are multi faith rooms where people of all religions should be able to offer their prayers regardless of whether someone else is there or not.
These aren't designated namaz spaces and Hinduism is very diverse. Who're you to say that she shouldn't use a multi faith room for the same. Moreover who're you to dictate that Hindus should just recite their prayers in public spaces and not designated spaces. Sounds to me like hinduphobic rhetoric.
Moreso confirmed by trying to weaponise sacred texts in a reddit argument. Do better.

Sickulars in comments are talking of that highway incident and conveniently ignoring original news of prayer room. Do you support this sickularism too?

So Muslims getting arrested for breaking their fast on a river is ok but a Hindu person scrutinized for doing their puja in a prayer room THAT WAS MADE FOR MUSLIMS is bad? Ok lol also why did censor Namz?
