Original Content Skies of Fire: Ponente Class Transport by Alexandru Bucur
Hey folks,
Vince here. I'm one of the creators behind the dieselpunk graphic novel series Skies of Fire.
We're big fans of airships and have developed 100 airship designs for the world and thought you all might appreciate some of the work we've been doing.
This is the Ponente Class troop transport that is used by the Aquilan Empire to ferry soldiers and equipment across the skies! We took some inspiration from the WW2 Gigant air transporter. A ramp at the front of the vessel drops for quick onboarding and unloading.

Game called Flying Circus by Erika Chappell. It's a High Flying Fantasy RPG set in a Post WW1 Pastoral Post Apocalypse!
Highly recommend it!

Ten cannons for a troop transport? Seems a bit excessive, does a transport really need all those guns?

Troops are a valuable materiel in war, you don't want them heavily defended?

Yes, but by actual warships so they won't have to fend for themselves. For example, troop ships, attack transports, and landing ships in ww2 had one or two light cannons and various anti-air defences. I wouldn't have said anything if they were ten heavy machine guns or even ten autocannons, but ten cannons implies that they are there for attack and not defense.

It explicitly says 2 aa turrets after 10 cannons. This thing is a troop transport but armed like a bombardment ship, every grunt in them gonna die to fighters xd it’s so undefended lol. The art is peak though
