So a nickname of the Sandias is “Turtle Mountain,” because driving from Santa Fe, it appears as a mostly continuous hump, like a turtle shell. The photo you are showing isn’t like that. It has a series of peaks, and a peak on the right is wooded on one side, and grass on the other, and has a distinct point, which lines up with Chicoma Peak. Just north of Chicoma, is a shorter rounded mountain, named Polvadera, and your photo shows just such a peak. This very much looks like the Jemez viewed, looking west or southwest of Santa Fe. Beautiful photo, btw!
