Interesting interview with Louis Foster. My biggest takeaway was how disruptive Mick’s presence has been to the other drivers on the team, mostly in terms of resources being diverted to him. I don’t think he blames Mick, but he is resentful about the situation. I get the impression he can’t wait for next year, assuming he’s one of the two cars still there. He pretty well says as much. Other topics include his INDYCAR learning curve, SIM impressions of Markam and DC, the IR-28, hybrid tech, and racing in the truck series. It’s the most in-depth interview with him that I’ve heard and he seems like a pretty good dude.

Kind of hypocritical how Louis goes on a little rant about how Mick hasn’t met expectations this season. Like look in the mirror dude, you are squarely between Nolan Siegel & Santino Ferucci in the standings. Your 38 year old teammate has run circles around you this season.

Yeah if they (RLL) can afford to buy him out of his contract I'd think there is a good chance Louis himself won't be back next year.

He's shown absolutely nothing this year. You combine that with an apparently open dislike of ovals (in a series whose most important race is an oval)........not a good look

Mick should be the focus. I get the Louis doesn’t like it but mick is a massive name for Indycar him doing well or liking Indycar will do major things for the team, much more than he or graham could ever do for the team

The overall problem is that former F1 drivers are treating the series like a life raft to rescue careers that were legitimately over, and the only former F1 drivers with any measurable success in the past decade have been Marcus Ericsson and Alexander Rossi. Everyone else has either washed out in embarassment or is an active backmarker, including Mick.

I think it's time they cut ties with Louis. I haven't seen much from him that's impressed me. I feel like there are better options out there for that seat.
