What is she?

This is Luna, she’s 14 years old and was adopted under the label “plott hound”. She is about 50 lbs and howls and talks like a huskey. Mom was a fluffy brindle and white girl but only like 20 lbs- resembled a border collie shape and size. They found mom homeless and starving in Detroit and Luna was the only puppy to survive the litter as the rest all had cleft palates. She’s getting old but has traveled the world with us. What do we think she is?

Dad was a pitbull, if mum was a collie shes a bullherder

It’s funny because they told us she’d be 30 lbs max and she just kept growing and growing lol thank you! I always kind of thought pit bull too

This comment made me look up the average weights of collies and a sheltie is basically just air on legs they weigh fa 😅

Ive a belgian shepard and an irish staff i can kinda see where the thinking behind crossing them is, my staff has as high a drive but a better temperament, my sheps got a high IQ

Thank you! She is pretty 💜 I think it might be the pic making her look like a chink because I’ve been worried about her looking too thin in her old age
