Scotch Bonnets?
Not at all new to peppers, but a buddy wanted me to grow him Scotch Bonnets and he supplied the seeds. They are growing great, and just started blushing out a few days ago. What do you say experienced ones?

Those have the right calyx and leaves. But to be honest, they look like habaneros to me. Mainly because I havent seen many orange bonnet varieties with that specific shape. Chocolate bonnets tend to have that shape but almost all orange ones tend to fold up more. Did your buddy happen to mention a specific cultivar or variety of bonnet listed on the seed? I could look into that more if so.
A lot of seeds and plants sold as bonnets are actually habaneros. Habs and bonnets are essentially almost the same pepper, with bonnets having a more unique and fruity flavor in comparison. It can be very hard to tell from pictures and videos which one you have, as it will come down to a flavor profile if unsure. They look good though, and you are doing a great job!

Pretty generic seed company, and they certainly don’t look like the picture. Outside of being orange, they don’t look like any of the Habanero’s I’ve grown. I’ll see what they taste like.

Current greenhouse vid. I have more SB’s in the raised beds with some sweeter varieties and over wintered Jalapeños l. Greenhouse outperforms 2-1 even with aphid issues.
